Sound Phonics Phase One: EYFS, Ages 3+: 1

Great activities, but visually a bit boring inside.

I had previously been using Jolly Phonics, i was advised to start my children on phase 1 instead and i must say this book is perfect

This book was bought for staff at nursery to further improve their knowledge to teach the first phase in phonics

These are a great series of books. The reason why this book does not introduce letters is because Phase 1 of letters and sounds does not introduce letters - but more gets children used to listening to sounds and hearing the inital sounds of words. Phase 2 introduces letters and is also a very good buy.

I ordered the book for my pre-schooler hoping to introduce the phase 1 to phonics but the book has very little input on actual letters and concentrates more on rhythms. Useful for class teaching jus not for one to one
