Quick backstory, my Xbox Series X barely gets used but also isn't under warranty. A few days ago it just decided it wasn't going to turn on anymore. After troubleshooting for a bit I realized the culprit was most likely a faulty power supply unit since the Xbox wouldn't even turn on at all. I ordered this new PSU and I'll be honest, I was pretty skeptical when I opened the box because the new PSU I bought looked a little beat up compared to the mint condition unit I removed from my Xbox. There were some small scrapes and a small ding but I decided to give it a try. Removal of the old PSU was a little tedious but not that hard given the tutorial I watched. I'm glad I went through with it because my Xbox worked flawlessly after the swap! So glad I went this route! MS wanted to charge me $300 to fix it and I was able to fix it myself for less than a 3rd of that. Definitely recommend this if your Xbox won't turn on and is out of warranty!

Every now and then the Xbox will turn on but won't do anything else

The power supply I received appeared to be a perfect OEM match to the defective unit in my Xbox series X. The PS powered up and my Xbox came back to life. The replacement process does require some skill working with electronic or PC hardware. Watch a few YouTubes on Xbox PS replacement. There are a variety screws removed during the replacement operation so carefully tracking where the screws are removed from is pretty critical to the reassembly process.

Unit was refurbished when it was advertised as new. Had the burnt electronic smell as soon as i opened the box. Also had marks where it had been install previously. Unit did work but I purchased as a new unit.

Inaccurate description.....product was obviously used. Labels were ripped off of box. The battery pack had several markings on it showing it had been previously installed/used. When you buy a product that is stated as NEW, for this much money, then you should not be receiving a USED product. So it is being returned!
