Ez-Shampoo Hair Washing Tray

Simple effective easy to use device. Use toweling at the back of the neck, since some water will run down the back as it would in a hair salon. Odd delivery - took far too long given that the retailer was less than a day away and in fact it seems to have come from the distributor located in my city. The distributor should support the retailer better, but that is an old Canadian problem.

This product works very nicely as described and is easy to use. We purchased it recently for the stylist to shampoo an elderly woman dealing with 1) vertigo and 2) a back fracture requiring the use of a back brace --- both causing problems when leaning back in the shampoo chair. The product fits nicely around her neck with a towel placed around her neck / shoulder area under the tray. She holds on to the strap to keep the tray in place, sits upright, and the water flows nicely into the bowl during her shampoo. The stylist has been impressed also and told us it worked much better at keeping the client dry than another product she had used in the past for people unable to lean back in the chair. The tray is made of good quality material and easy to transport. We are very happy with our purchase.

My mom is tiny 90 lbs and 5’ tall. It worked great for her as the wheelchair and sink lined up well and she just tilted her head back ever so slightly. The problem I think most would have is the neck opening is only 4-1/2” wide (5” deep). Perhaps it would be helpful to make a cardboard cutout first to see how it would fit. If there is any space behind the neck, water will most likely go down the person’s back. After fitting her with a waterproof hair cutting bib and towel around the neck, the neck cutout fit very snugly. The tray is also quite narrow (13” at the widest with a 1” rim all around only leaves a flat space of 11” to work with. Again, best to find a chair/sink combo that will work with the person. Better to have the person sitting slightly above sink so it can drain properly.

Bought this product for my mom who is aged now. My wife helped her shampoo her hair with this very conveniently. Very impressive.

Good enough ... Creates a bridge from chair to sink. But there is no safeguard against leaks. Does not have any kind of seal between the product and a person's neck. I made a mess! We got it cuz it's much cheaper than other like items...

The tray worked very well. We used it at the kitchen sink and it would have been better if it was longer and wider. But, then if it was it wouldn't work as good for a bathroom sink. Maybe make two sizes?

Very short. This doesnt work for handicap people in wheelchairs. My dad had his clothes wet. It doesn't fit closely enough around the neck. Plan on getting the person needing their hair washed very wet.

Don't waste your $ on this. I've been washing my daughter's hair from her wheelchair for over 10 years and the tray I've been using finally fell apart. I always drape a couple of hand towels around her shoulders and neck just in case but rarely had any leakage issues. The first time I used this new product yesterday, her shirt and the back of her fabric chair both got drenched and I had to change her after the shampoo snd I had draped two good thick towels behind her. They also were drenched. Hate it! She is a rather small adult and we also had issues fitting that neck hole close enough to her neck area to prevent these leakage issues. I wanted to throw it away Immediately. Will order something else today for beauty parlor day next week. Don't waste your bucks on this!

Works ok. I didn't give it 5 stars because water easily trickles down the back at the neck. I would have preferred instructions on how to wrap a towel or fabric to alleviate water leaking down the back.

Didn't know you have to hold it.. thought it could snap onto the sink

Good grief. The cutout for the neck is very small-not even usualable. Will be returning.

it's so much better than the hat one

Really like this EZ Hair Shampoo Tray because it matches the name and description of product. Excellent for use with those who are wheel chair bound. Just roll patient up to the sink, drape with styling plastic cape and lay end into sink. Place tray over plastic drape and secure tray around neck. Tilt head back and you are ready to shampoo with no water dripping or spilling on floor or in bed. Very EZ!
