Would this damage the paint on an action figure?

I have used this for ceramics and painted figurines in my house and professionally. It looks like blue tac but is much softer and stays slightly tacky. Which allows for adhesion and removal from the surface it is attached to. It has not taken any paintwork off from my painted statues.  You only need a small bit in a few balls to put on the base of the item then place on surface and give the object a slight twist.  You will find that it holds the items steadfast.  I also use if for all my crystal so when dusting nothing gets knocked over, When you wish to remove the object held by the quakehold just give it a slight twist and it just comes away.  I have also used it for art exhibitions so that clay objects stay in place and don't get knocked over.  |It's peace of mind. Hope this helps :)

Would this work to stick my dogs water bowl to his silicone mat? He keeps kicking it over and spilling water everywhere.

I believe that your idea would be successful provided both the mat and the bowl were perfectly dry before using the putty. The problem might be that you will want to keep removing the bowl for cleaning so you would Ave to go through the process of drying each time..

Would this prevent a baby pulling ornaments from a sideboard?

Not sure. I used it in my garden to secure gazing balls to my patio to stop them moving. It does seem like it would be secure for ornaments though.

Question 4

i have large ceramic pots which i want to put on a solid metal table and i dont want the putty/gel to mark the table.   can i use museum putty or gel?

I use the putty outside to final fix granite to wooden sculpture plinths and it does leave a greasy mark, so I would beware on a metal/interior table.  It really works though and I have even used it to stick the mirror back into my car wing mirror when it fell out.
