Ametek Lamb Vacuum Blower / Motor 120 Volts 116309-00

The motor on our old Skat Blast vacuum tank started making a lot of noise, coming from the windings. So, it was obviously time to find a replacement. When I saw this one, it was a dead ringer for the one on the unit. I believe the one on the unit was a replacement to begin with and had a lot of use and time on it, so to find one that I knew would work was a relief. This one bolted up and wired up with no problems, and is working great. Our Skat Blast is probably early 90's Era, just FYI.

The motor is well made only downfall is none of the mounting holes are tapped. Not a big deal but that was the only issue I had

I bought this for a local handyman to fix my vacuum cleaner. It fit perfectly into my 27 year old HEPA filtered VitaVac machine, which has the best suction of all the other newer models that I have tried. This vacuum cleaner is not manufactured anymore, so I was really happy that the guy attempted to fix it since the local vacuum cleaner company said they could not get the parts, and sold me a Miele, which are supposed to be so good. Apparently it was easy to install since the guy didn’t have much bench time on my bill. It now runs as good as it did brand new. Delivery was fast and I was so glad to get this terrific vacuum cleaner back in service.

The motor was well packaged and was delivered very quickly. The suction was not as strong as my original motor and I was disappointed in the weaker suction. I then, after doing more research, found out I actually ordered the wrong motor. My original was a 2 stage and this one is a one stage which explains why it does not move as many CFM's as the original. My tag on the original was not readable and the canister sweeper is about 30 years old so part sites did not carry part numbers back that far (at least as far as I could find), I had to guess and I guessed wrong. The motor is in the sweeper and it runs flawlessly albeit a little weak. As the title says, it was not the fault of the seller or the motor, but completely mine so I am giving it 5 stars based on the motor itself. As for my intelligence.... I am rating it a 1 star.

I bought this motor to replace the dying one in my old MetroVac datavac toner vacuum. This motor is the exact same manufacurer and model as came with the vacuum many many years ago, and costs less than a quarter of the price of replacing the whole vacuum. Replacement was easy and the vacuum runs perfectly now. My vacuum is like new again and I pocket more than $200 in savings. What's not to like?!

My hot tub was making shrieking noise. Not what you want to hear while soaking away the days worries. This fixed the blower. Happy with purchase.
