Wow, buy these boots! Seriously
Ok, I’ll admit I was taken back by the high price of these, but, the fit, the BOA lacing system, the light weight, and Gore-Tex waterproofing and just the overall feel of these Solid Gear Pheonix boots has blown me away. Literally. If you’re on your feet most of the day and need a safety toe, these boots ROCK. The original included Solid Gear insole is top quality with a Poron heal section, however, I ordered a PowerStep insole (for plantar fasciitis) and these safety toe Solid Gears are now better than fantastic. The one downside, if you work in anything messy, like oil or as a mechanic, these boots have an orange sole, and they grunge up pretty quickly. Why they went with orange vs black is pretty weird. However, Two thumbs 👍👍

Not Impressed
Inside liner issue right out of the box. Contacted manufacturer and they stated send back. I wore them in too much to be eligible for refund. Fixed liner issue with spray adhesive and wore to work daily. Lace system is convenient (that's why I purchased). Boot is not heavy duty and is not suitable for heavy construction. Discarded following 1 month of use.

Worth the investment -HVAC Tech
Bought these shoes March 2024. I'm still wearing them and have noticed minimum wear (definitely getting another year out of them if not more). They are somewhat stiff and I bought some upgraded insoles to rectify that issue. I would of given them 5 stars if not for that. They're pretty light and can take a beating. Not to mention all the safety features. I normally buy boots like Ariat, Irish setter, rocky more expensive higher quality boots and these are right up there with them for safety, style, comfort and the boa lace system it's like ratchet strapping your boots to your feet amazing feeling for the first time. Id recommend you give these boots a chance even considering the price. They'll definitely last. I'm on my second year. Will probably buy the same boot after the life is out of the ones I have now.

Best electrical work boots
I had these boots for so long and they by far the most lightweight and comfortable shoes. not to mention easy and fast to put on and take off.

Good BOA Shoe...But
I like the BOA shoelaces...but dam my feat hurt. Very stiff shoe, I like the BOA system. But if my foot hurts this much after today, then I'm gone pass.
