This facial cream offers a nice light feel, excelling at moisturizing with a great container; however, considering the scientific efficacy of collagen creams, I find it hard to recommend, as more affordable alternatives prove equally or more effective in moisturizing.

The MATRIGEN SS Collagen Volume Facial Cream, Lifting Anti-Wrinkle Brightening and Hypoallergenic with 380 Dalton Hydrolyzed Collagen for All Skin Types, K-Beauty Moisturizer has great ingredients and well worth the price.Anyone that has shopped on Amazon for facial moisturizers that include the words anti-aging knows that there's easily over a thousand different products with varying prices; inexpensive to very expensive.Having tried dozens of face moisturizers over the years, non name brand and name brand, inexpensive to very expensive, I always look at the ingredients, whether the key ingredients are at the top of the ingredient list or the bottom, what I'm trying to achieve, whether it performs as advertised and if the price is fair for what I'm receiving.I gave you that introduction to tell you why I love this product. It is very rare to see in facial moisturizers water as the last ingredient, even in name brands. It is normally the first ingredient in the majority of facial moisturizers. Why that is important is because the ingredient at the very top of the list is what there is the most of and at the bottom is what there's the least of.This facial moisturizer has Collagen as the first ingredient and also Niacinamide and a variety of other great ingredients - water is the very last ingredient - virtually unheard of in facial moisturizers. This combination of ingredients justifies the price (at the time of my order of $69.99). I attached a photo of the ingredients so you can decide for yourself if these ingredients are good for your skin care needs.It goes on very smoothly and you only need a very small amount. It is 1 oz, however it could last you 60 days if you use it sparingly as suggested on the product listing page.It left my skin feeling very soft with no irritation. I did not put any serum or any other product underneath because I want to get the full benefit.On the product listing page under product and details it said that a small percentage had improvement within 3 days. Although I know this product is expensive for most people and if you've tried other facial moisturizers and not achieved the results you'd hope for, I would certainly give this product a try. It is returnable and you should see some results to know whether this product is working for you within the first two weeks - you'll still be well within the return window of 30 days.This is a great quality product that I would purchase in the future.

This moisturizer feels nice on the skin, but it made me very oily after a few hours. It's definitely more suitable for evening, but I've found that it's still a little greasy for my taste. It has a dewy finish and a very light pink coloring at first that melts into the skin. I personally didn't find it to be worth the price, especially since I opened the top to find that the bottle was about 60% full. I do like the pump top though, and you don't need alot to cover your face. I also like that it's fragrance free.This did cause me to break out a little bit but nothing too crazy. It did not irritate my skin. Pairs well with tret due to it's occlusive and non irritating properties. Probably best for dry/mature skin.

Korean beauty products are known for being highly effective and high quality and have been trending in the beauty world for the past three years.I've never used any K-beauty products before I ordered Matrigen's SS Collagen Volume Cream because i thought K-beauty was a gimmick. After trying this moisturizer, I now understand the hype behind this and similar products.The product design sets it apart from other similar products. Instead of sticking your fingers in the jar to use the cream, there is a pump top. This design keeps the cream fresh and free of bacteria from your hands.The cream has a pinkish tint (as shown in the photo) and a barely noticeable scent. It goes on my skin like butter. It gives coverage like a heavy moisturizer, yet is lightweight.I am in my late 20s and have slightly oily, acne prone skin. This cream does make my face oiler, so I use at night. By morning it is completely dissolved in my skin and my face feels soft. It does not clog pores and has not made me break out. You don't need much cream either.I've used the cream for a few weeks now and I am still in love! My skin is softer and plumper. People think I am in my early 20s! I never got compliments about my skin until after I used this.Although pricey, I would rather use this cream instead of five cheaper products combined.

I have to admit that I expected more results from this for the price. It doesn't seem to do anything that other, less expensive products do just as well. I like the ingredients, and the dispenser that allows you to get product without touching what's in the jar. Those are all great features, so I was surprised that I was not able to see more results. I've giving this a long trial period, but I can't say it does any better than other products for my skin. Your results may be different.
