These lights are pretty great. I charged them (on a mostly sunny day in Southern California) for only 1/2 day, and they stayed on all night on flashing. I have them hung from poles in the front yard. The picture shows the whole plastic bulb lit up very brightly, but this is not the way they look to me from the street - the plastic bulbs do not seem to be very well lit up, but the lights at the top of each bulb are nice and bright and colorful. If I stand about 5 feet from the string, then I can tell that the plastic bulbs are nicely lit up, but as I mentioned, from 30-40' away (and perhaps 10' below the strings, looking up at them), the bulbs are dim compared to the little lights at the top of each bulb. But I'm impressed enough that I've ordered another set of two of these lights because they are bright and colorful and stay on all night (at least in flashing mode) - and I don't have to plug them in!

I just received these and I am very pleased with the purchase! I charged one set today, I just had to see what they really looked like! The photo is steady light, they also have a nice flash mode. They are going to be beautiful in our re-landscaped back yard! They will be a focal point for sure. Very pleased with this purchase and this seller!! Seller followed up to be sure I was totally satisfied with the product ( I am 100%). Delivery was fast (next day). I can't wait to have them up and lighting. They appear well made, the ground spike is plastic but feels very sturdy as well. Love the droplet shape, much prettier than the single point lights. Great product, great price and a great company, what more could one ask for. Highly recommend this product and seller!

The first string was beautiful and has lasted Soooo long. I changed the battery once. But they just ran out of juice. I just put up the second string and I was Soooo disappointed because only 3 lights came on . They her juiced up with sun but only 3 drop lights come on. I would really like the seller to send me a new string of these lights

i have ordered these three times already, two times as a gift. The ones I have bought for myself are still going strong through 2 winters. Even the lovely teardrop shape is lovely during the day as well. Makes a nice gift and is a pretty little something to get for yourself.

Nice bright lights that so far seem to charge great during the day. They come on when its dark, and turn off when the sun comes up. However, the "smart" part is lacking. For the different scenes you can not change the colors, or even slow it down. One color can be chosen if you don't want any blinking or fading. Had I paid full price for these, I would be returning them, however they where half off for prime day and they really are pretty so I will be keeping them.(Note: The Hello Fairy app can do DIY but not this model, I reached out to the app support and confirmed this)

I wish they came with clips to help tack them up. We bought these for a vendor event to put up along the outside of our tent. We had to use binder clips to clip them to the tent fabric but they worked AMAZINGLY well. They weren't super bright but helped make our tent really stand out in the crowd of other vendors. I returned the 2nd night for our event and found the lights not working. I was momentarily alarmed and angry that they had only worked for one single night. I was getting ready to put up the 2nd set that came with them and saw them momentarily blink on when I reached for the solar panel box. Apparently I'm a moron. While it was "dark" it wasn't dark enough to trigger the lights to come on yet, so I had to cover the solar panel with a post it note in order to make them work. I felt like a complete and utter moron. I quickly whipped out my phone and cancelled my return I'd initiated with Amazon and the lights were gloriously perfect for the 2nd night of our event. I DEFINITELY plan on buying these again!!!!! Couldn't be happier with these lights!!!!

My order says these are the ones I bought so will go with that because there is no picture. They do not look like a Christmas lights, not that bright. They have a tiny colored bulb at the top of the teardrop and this shines down through the rest of the teardrop. They were very bright on the first night and lasted several hours but the cloudy Seattle weather had returned so they only last 2-3 hiurs. My husband likes them so you can be sure they have good quality...except one string has a short so we are reordering. We intend to put them out in our bushes to add mood light at night. It is very important that the solar panel is in a position that catches direct sunlight for several hours. They have an auto on/off so you don't have to go out in the yard to turn them on/off. Each string is 20' packaged with each in it's own plastic bag. LOL We had them shipped to our son's house as we are traveling near him and my husband strung them between fixtures in the hotel room. Upon getting them home, we found they only stayed lit for 2-3 hours even when they were in a good amount of direct sun for several hours. We bought several others this summer and are done buying solar lights as they all do the same. Pretty when they work right but they don't work right long enough to be worth the cost.

Perfect to hang on our backyard umbrella! No more cords to plug in! We absolutely love the idea that these are solar powered and there are so many light colors and pattern options through the app besides the basic options through the remote!
