This is an absolute game changer! I have long thick hair that doesn’t always cooperate. It is not straight nor curly, just kind of unruly. I have had this product saved in my cart for a while but couldn’t decide if it was worth the money due to the mixed reviews. I finally decided to take a leap of faith. I’m so glad I did. It heats up very quickly and has several different levels of heat/temperature. You can use it to curl or straighten your hair, make loose or tight spiral curls, or make it wavy. You just have to play around with it. I have a very expensive flat iron that I have used for years and my hair gets caught in the edges and pulled out. I have not had that problem with this. It seems to be made very well. You don’t have to squeeze down on it like you would with a flat iron. Just use small sections, spray your hair with a good reputable hair spray prior to doing it, and then spray it afterwards if you want. Of course you don’t have to use hair spray, it just helps hold the curl longer. I have tried so many different ways to curl my hair but this is definitely my favorite. It is fast and easy, keeps it smooth and polished, and the curl is from root to end. Usually my hair will only curl at the end due to how long and heavy it is. Definitely a great value for the money! I highly recommend it!

i bought this after searching a while for hair straighteners that rested in a closed position. i have rather bad hand pains when holding/gripping things too hard, and my last one i needed to physically hold closed to use. this one has been such a huge game changer for me. i don’t need to press it down or anything, and it still straightens my hair very nicely despite that! ive had no issues with the heat- my hair always comes out how i want. i can finally do my hair again pain-free and it’s a very nice feeling. absolutely worth the buy.

Used my friends while on vacation and immediately bought my own.. not only is it great to be able to use it as a two in one - straightener AND curler (especially to cut down on packing multiple hot tools while traveling) I love that it cools as you curl. Love that it has a longer cord, easy to hold.. overall great quality. I use other L'ange products (mostly the hair care and hair towels) so this is my first tool.. but I knew I'd love it before I got my own.

I really wanted to like this. It’s a fantastic idea but I chose to return because it wasn’t a strong enough straightener for my wavy hair, living in 100% humidity, for its price. The curls didn’t hide the frizz that arose from it kinking up.It was really easy to use. They were plenty of videos on to help teach. It heated up really quick and you could use the fan or turn it off if it wasn’t useful for you. It curled nicely. It had everything needed to be a fantastic product, but unfortunately, I needed something that clamped tighter.

Amazing product! I hate doing my hair takes to much time and I can’t use a curling iron so figured I’d try this hair straightener and I absolutely love it! Curls are so beautiful and tight, last all day even woke up the next morning and still curled. It works amazing and love how it cooks itself off during and after. The different temperatures to fit your needs and type of hair! Well worth the money and I highly recommend!!!

I have long hair that doesn't hold curl well. I initially bought this curler from a Facebook ad about 3 years ago. Prior to using this curler, I used a curler with a rotating wand, which I like, but after I curled my hair in the 2nd story bathroom, my hair was almost straight by the time I got to the bottom of the stairs on the first level. Since my previous curler was heat only, I used the highest heat to curl my hair in an effort to make the curl last a little longer. Because of this, I often had to have my hair trimmed to cut off the burned ends.After about 3 years of use, my other L'ange curler got a film on the curling plates from hair spray I use, and my hair was starting to stick to the plates. So, I decided to clean the plates. Since the film was kind of thick, I used a scrubby to get it off. After cleaning, and getting the curler wet, it didn't work. So, I had to go back to using the rotating curler until I got the order for this one. I was not a happy camper!!Surprisingly, my loved L'ange curler needed only to dry and the next day it was working again. So, now I have the new one as a backup. This is fine with me since I don't want to be without this curler again.What I love about this curler is:1) I don't have to use the highest heat to get a nice curl.2) Since the fan cools the curl as you go, the curl lasts much longer than with other heated curling irons.3) It doesn't take long to get used to using this curler for the curl you want. For me, I curl the top of my hair, which is shorter, in 3 sections. After I brush it out, I use the curler to modify the curl until it lays the way I want it to. I curl the longer hair in two sections pulled to the front to smooth the hair and get curl only at the ends.It can take a little practice to get the curl you want. Small sections will produce more curl for each section. Larger section are fine if you want smoothing of the hair and a little curl only at the ends. The trick is to turn the curler as you move it slowly down the hair strands and hold it a little longer at the ends for more curl. The longer you hold it, the more it curls.I hope this review was helpful for you.

I was hesitant about buying this product because of Al other bad reviews I saw but, honestly I really liked this product. I have very straight long hair so, typically it doesn’t hold a curl - or at least not for long. I bought this product for the purpose of using it as a curler and my curls stayed on for 5+ hours. I think the item is very easy to use. I would agree with some of the bad reviews that the clamp doesnt shut all the way. However, I just used my other hand to help with that. I don’t think I’d repurchase it but I will be keeping it for now since it seems to work well. I set the heat level at 360 so the fact that it wasn’t as hot as it can get and my curls stayed, was great.
