Nice
This works well, is accurate and easy to install. Made a great solar panel tester.

Good energy monitor for DIY projects
Easy to install. Don't try to read the manual, though. The measured voltage was cross-referenced with Fluke and was accurate to +-0.01V. Current accuracy was not tested. When power is interrupted, the Wh/kWh figure is not reset. Great value product.

Crazy accuracy for the price, but an LCD from the turn of the century.
Tough call, had it on the bench using calibrated test equipment. Met every spec and then some. Now the bad news, the LCD is display has to be something from the 90's. Horizontal off-axis viewing is near zero approaching 25°. Vertical, it's probably less than 15°. Didn't measure, I just knew it wasn't going to work in my application. Don't even dream about using it outdoors, unless the sun has set and you have the backlight on. It deserves 4 stars for it stellar accuracy and value.

Works well, accurate. Exceeded expectations.
I bought this power meter a year ago, it took me a while to get around to it. But it just works, no set up required. And at least the voltage reading is very accurate, it agrees with my voltmeter to one hundreth of a volt. I estimate the update time is around one second. Very happy with it. Also I am only running about 0 to 30 amps, and the space is limited, so I am only using the smaller (5mm) bolts, I removed the big bolts and that made the sensor assembly quite a bit smaller. This works fine as long as your wiring is solid, not under sized, or overly long.

Great value
Just a three wire install. The shunt goes between my solar panels and the battery on the negative side. A positive wire goes to the unit. It displays current, voltage, wattage, and running wattage. I measured the voltage against my digital volt meter and they were within 0.1 volts. Great display and at the end of the day I know how much power my panels put out, then hit the reset and its ready for the next day.

Accurate readings but horrible viewing angle
Once it’s running, the monitor gives solid data on voltage, current, and power. The display is backlit, but the viewing angle is absolutely terrible. You can only see the screen within a 5 degree viewing angle. The included shunt is decent quality and handles load without issues. The setup instructions were poorly translated and missing some steps. It took a few tries and online guides to wire it correctly. Works great now, but definitely not plug-and-play.
