Does the job!
Leaving a review here as I found it really hard to chose which one to get! To be cheap and risk the quality being crap... I’ve found that this was cheaper, but it arrived promptly and I’ve found no issue with the quality so far!

Absolutely fine for the money
Simple and easy to use, works fine and at a very good price. Only been using it every other day for 2 weeks but seems to do the job.

great little adaptor to plug the cd player into an ancient car stereo and get all late 20th century
brilliant, works with my ancient car stereo and allows me to add CD's to the repertoire, makes me realise that the speakers are actually good, it's just the ancient cassettes that aren't (I'm making mix tapes again, which is a joy)

Avoid, it's a total waste of (not very much) money
The adapter was delivered well ahead of the projected date, and it worked first time in my cassette player. However, that was where the good news stopped. The sound quality is abysmal, with a very obtrusive low hum like you get from a cheap amplifier turned up to 10 with no input. You might not notice it as badly in a car with the engine running and some tyre noise, but in the house the buzz dominates the music, even with the bass turned down. There is also a problem with the auto-rewind, which stops the music every few minutes, despite the adapter having no brake function.It was very cheap and not worth sending back for a refund - it's gone straight into the bin.

Good sound quality, sturdy
For the price point you cannot go wrong with this cassette tape adaptor. It plays audio really well (bearing in mind the limitations of cassette frequency ranges in general), is easy to use, comes with a sufficiently long audio cable and after numerous uses hasn't broken yet.

Not ideal
Product seemed ok at first but after only a few uses the jack plug fitted very poorly causing sound distortion and interference if the slightest hint of a breeze was to pass over the socket. I'm confident it's not an issue with my phone as that's fine with headphones. Over all a disappointing product that's in the bin within a few weeks.

An amazing product and very cheap, I didn’t think this would work but it does. You just plug and play. 10/10
