What a great story to read. Great writing. I will definitely continue reading this author. It’s nice to read medical thrillers.

Dr. Anne Wiley seems to have it all: a stellar career, devoted husband and the best life has to offer. But when a patient dies on her surgical table, Anne is forced to question everything she knows.Paula Fuselier is a hard working, driven attorney that seems to be destined for greatness. As her attention turns to Dr. Wiley a tangled obsession seems to emerge that keeps you questioning her motives. Lots of unexpected twists and turns keep you hanging on the edge of your seat. Although at times the plot seems a little far fetched and over reaching, overall this was a story that kept me interested and coming back for more!

I really liked this book by the end. However, I found myself skimming while reading the first like 60% of the book. Once I felt more engaged in the book, it was great! I loved the twists!

This was an easy read and compelled me to keep reading. I’m often disappointed because I figure “it” out before the end but this one was a total surprise. If you’re looking for the next Pulitzer novel, this is not it. But if you’re just looking for a fun story with an original plot, this book is an enjoyable read.

I got this book a few months ago on a book outlet binge buy but actually read in on kindle unlimited since it was available. The book was confusing to start and it took me a bit to get into it. But once I got about 30ish percent in the pace quickened and man I was sucked in. There’s the POV of Anna, a brilliant and lovely cardio thoracic surgeon, and Paula a up and coming assistant state attorney. Anna’s patient has died after a somewhat risky surgery and Paula is digging into it but she may have ulterior motives to do so. There’s a few twists and turns that did throw me for a loop but I did end up enjoying the story and the vibes were great.

I found this story to be exciting. All the characters were well developed and appeared very true to life. The plot was twisty but not expected so it kept my interest with the many surprise interactions of the various characters.

I really enjoyed this book! The twists were totally unexpected. And the ending was perfect! Made me laugh out loud. Don't read the last page first!! Ms. Wolfe captures the O.R. scenes well and you feel the sweaty palms yourself as you read the book. A fun read, for sure.

I liked the book, but was a bit disappointed at the end. I truly hoped the two girls would have joined forces, instead of arguing over the sister. The man deserved to die (i liked that part of the ending). There were some parts of the story were it was supper slow. I recommend reading it on a lazy day.

Wow this book kept you in suspense all the way till the end.

Tough position to be in in the operating room.Not I suppose paying attention to your patient.Lots of twists in this drama.Not happy about the ending like the author just couldn’t think of a proper result.Overall a good read .
