The part that was ordered is the part that came. What is there to complain about?
Who are these people giving the seller a 1 star review because “nobody is old me I was going to need a soldering iron”? When you buy car tires, do you slam Goodyear for not mentioning ironing that you might need a tire iron to put the tire on your car? The vendor here offered a part. It said nothing about installation assistance. The part that came in the post is exactly what they offered. You got what you paid for. If you don’t know how to install it, that’s on you.YouTube is full of tutorials. You either have to make the effort and educate yourself, or pay someone who has already done that to install it for you. That’s how the grown-up world works. The part we bought, is the part that came. It fits just like the original part. Sure Dr. Dre could have used quick connect wire couplers to make it easier to make this repair, but take that up with him, not this reseller.

Good match, difficult install
The product itself is a good color match. The screws do not match, but there’s no reason not to reuse the originals. Make sure you watch a few how to videos before buying this product. It’s a lot harder to install than it looks and it’s very easy to damage parts. It requires a soldering iron and a heat gun. If your headphones still work, I would not try to replace this part.

It’s a no for me. Soldering tool needed.
I would not use without a soldering tool. I’m returning mine, required more that just the replacement parts.I made the mistake of purchasing, then looking at the video. Bad idea.

Missing the screwdriver
Just didn’t even come with the said screwdriver and screws. How am I supposed to use the product without the tools?

Perfect for studio 3
Perfect fit, looks totally like original panel. It took about 45 mins to change the left side and I followed YouTube videos. this wasn’t meant to be a plug and play fix and require some skills and making 2 solders. But they are relatively beginner type solder joints. And you don’t need their special screw driver. It’s just a small regular Philip head for all the screws

Needs Soldering Iron to Install
Came with no instructions, would love it mentioned that you need a soldering iron and heat gun to install. Not quick or easy, but doable with online tutorials (absolute MINIMUM an hour's work for a beginner like me).However it fits well, looks good, and quality isn't any worse than the original 😉
