Betty Crocker Favorites Super Moist Vanilla Cake Mix, 13.25 oz (Pack of 12)

I love Betty Crocker cake mixes. They are a quality product with a good price point. Easy to make, easy to bake, versatile uses, such as making a crumb topping with the mix, turning them into a poke cake and adding various flavors, or baking them as is for a weeknight dessert. Always tasty, while being versatile and actually quite functional. The boxes are usually sturdy enough for a cake mix. They shouldn't need to be in anything heavy duty, but when ordering them from Amazon, you never know how they'll arrive. Sadly, when I ordered my cake mixes, I also ordered some canned goods, and they all arrived in the same box. The cake mix boxes were all flattened with the box bottoms blown out, luckily the mix bags themselves were still intact. I would remove a star for distribution, but it's not Betty Crockers fault.

This was an amazing deal. Our kids bake cakes all the time and this is a great starting point for those days when you just wanna make a cake and not have a really messy kitchen. The flavor is great. It cooks and bakes well. The cake mix quality is fine. It does produce a very pretty cake. That’s fluffy and moist.

I make a German Chocolate cake every year for my son's birthday. I always buy a German chocolate cake mix and make a homemade coconut pecan icing see recipe below:GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE ICINGMelt 1 c butter (1 cube) in med size panallow butter to cool then add:3 beaten egg yolks1 c sugar (white or brown)1 c canned evaporated milk1 tsp vanillaStir continuously with a whisk over med heat cooking for about 12 minutes. Mixture will thicken as it boils.Add to mixture:1 1/3 c sweetened shredded coconut1 c chopped pecansStir occasionally as it cools for about 30 minutes. Spread on top a cooled 9x13 German Chocolate Cake and between layers if making a double or triple layer cake. Decorate top with whole pecans.This cake mix was delicious! Easy to make and only takes eggs, oil and water. It came out light and moist. Smelled wonderful baking! I love the German chocolate flavor.Hard to find this mix at grocery stores these days. Cost was very expensive … but cheaper than buying a large bakery birthday cake.

Great mix! I needed mixes fast and couldn’t get to the store so ordered a few of these and they were great! Soft, moist, and scrumptious

Excellent product, moist and flavorful

I would give these 5 stars if the new size matched the wet ingredients. These mixes have gotten smaller, but the wet ingredients have stayed the same so the cake doesn't stay together as well. The flavor is as good as it has always been though!

My favorite mix for Jell-o cake recipies. Easy to mix and bakes well.

This is a great price and a fantastic time saver for a huge back to school event that I had volunteered for. Last minute of course! A variety of cupcakes and cookies all unfrosted so that all the kids could be creative, decorate and enjoy!!
