Decent portable tool, more power then expected
I generally like Ryobi tools, I have a couple of power drills and an impact wrench that are excellent. That being said, I didn't expect this till would be up to the job because of it being battery powered. However, it was on special price so I thought I'd give it a go.My previous multitool (240v) burned out after serious use refurbishing a Victorian floor, so I bought this as a replacement, because I also needed an additional battery for my other Ryobi tools.Boy, was I surprised about the power of this tool. It was easily as good as my 240v tool, had variable power and easily good enough to do the cutting I needed through 23mm Victorian floorboards. The battery easily lasted over an hour on its first use. Very impressive. The only downside really that I can point out is that the multitool seat is is a strange pattern. It fits some of the multitool tool attachments out there but not all of them, so half of my current cutting blades can't be used. But otherwise this is a really good tool, would easily recommend.

Best tool ever!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this mutitool after a neighbour helped me with theirs. It is the most amazing, versatile tool ever!In currently doing a lot of renovating around the house and have used this for cutting skirting boards off the wall behind radiator pipes, cutting out old sealant, trimming floorboards to size, cutting off old rawl plugs and nails that wouldn't come out.The sanding function is also really useful and I have used it to sand down the woodwork. It has variable speeds, a safety cut off, and light to see what you're doing. It comes with 2 cutting attachments andb1 sanding head as well as a fast charger, 2ah battery and very nice storage case. The battery lasts a good while for the small jobs around the house. It's a sturdy tool and feels like really good quality and durable. This tool is amazing value for money and you'd be surprised at the jobs it's capable of. After this I immediately bought the ryobi skill saw and impact driver.

Great tool
Update - Returns process was good and was sent a replacement unit which was great :) The tool is really useful, great for remodelling or getting into difficult areas etc... Original - Was sent a second hand item instead of brand new. Box intact but scratches all over battery and white dust all over the unit and in the tool retainer, in addition tool parts opened.

Blades are made from butter
Bought to cut the bottom of 1 door frame to fit wooden flooring underneath it.First blade ( square end one) lasted for 1 side of the door frame before it became completely blunt, so blunt in fact there was no teeth left on it!Had to use the round end blade for the opposite side, and yes, same again, it became totally blunt and I had to finish the job with a small saw which done the job.Absolute disgrace that these blades are like butter and cannot even make it through 1 wooden door frame. Now the Oscillating tool itself, this became actually hot to the touch after only 1 minute, so much so I had to stop and let it cool down. For the price, this will be returned and I’ll go with Bosch in future.Genuine Ryobi? Possibly not.
