Perfect bottle, not so perfect dispenser.
The media could not be loaded. I brought this to use a simple water bottle to keep by my desk, and it works perfectly for that. I keep it upright, and use it to diffuse tea in. Whenever I want some, I lift it up and pour, and its great for that! But as a fridge dispenser, I don't think I trust the tap to not break. It is quite difficult to open, and wobbles when doing it. You also would only use about 4/5ths of the bottle, and the tap is pretty high on the top.It was super easy to assemble and disassemble, it looks fantastic, and is big enough for most of your needs.I think it is very good value!

Not great
Same as the other reviews - leaks immediately on first use. The thread on the jar is too wide for the ring to seat properly, the tap is cheap plastic not metal and feels like it's going to snap. It's a shame as the glassware is excellent, feels very solid and has a good shape, but it is ruined by penny pinching on the tap part.

Nice idea
Lovely drink dispenser, Great for a party. Hasn't leaked so far. Fits in the fridge nicely and easy to clean. Only issue is the placement of the tap, around 1/4 of the liquid is below the tap line, so you have to maneuver the container to dispense the drink.

Bought on offer and now I see why
The idea and glass jar is great and I'm glad I can have a jar that fits in my fridge. However like how many have mentioned, the tap is poorly made and leaks whenever in use (I ended up putting a microfiber cloth under it so I could still use it). Then also, once you're near the end of the liquid, the tap will stop pouring all together for some reason. I've since bought a replacement tap as it's a hassle to return but NOT from Kilner as they are definitely overpriced for what they are and you can buy identical ones from other brands for a lot less.I wouldn't recommend buying this at all and suggest buying another brand's in fridge jar but one that's upright so atleast you're guaranteed it'll work.

Good "jar", awful tap
I'm honestly a bit disgusted by the quality of this. The jar itself is decent enough, it fits easily on the top shelf of my fridge, and yup - keeps liquids stored and cold... but the tap fitting is plasticy, cheap, wobbly - and I can see it breaking within a couple of months regular use. Also it has a ridiculous design flaw - it doesn't pour without having to faff with a vacuum seal toggle you have to release to get the tap to work - but this is on the front, not the top - so if the jar is filled more than 3/4 full, when you release the vacuum seal, it leaks. Additionally, you can leave the tap "on", because it won't work without releasing the seal toggle - so pretty much renders the tap function useless anyway.I've got a feeling I'll use it for a long as the cheap tap holds out, but after that inevitably fails in a couple of months, it'll go on the recycling.

Using mine to make Kombucha in
Bought 2 of these. Making Kombucha in the one and then transferring straight into the fridge. Making the next batch in the spare while I drink the other.I did buy the metal tap as the plastic ones that comes with just looked cheap and nasty.

Great size, perfect for the fridge.
Ignore the reviewers who talk about leakages. I've bought two of these now and the instructions clearly tell you to push in the rubber seal when storing. I've had mine for over a week and neither of them have leaked once. The glass is sturdy, the tap could flow a little faster but that's a minor issue.
