Removed rust
Used to remove the rust on a 30 year old cast iron keel. Made quick work of it. Followed the instructions. 2 coats of epoxy primer on top. Job done Good product and simple to use

Here we have two motorcycle carburettor brackets, both off the same set of carbs, from a 25 year old motorcycle. The top one is after jenolite, it needs a visit to a zinc plating bath. It is bare metal, no corrosion in sight. The bottom one is before jenolite. It looks like it spent the last 25 years in the bottom of a ditch. Note, jenolite does not remove oils and grease, but it does remove rust, well.

Ok for small jobs, but now far too expenive.
Ok stuff, but not brilliant, and especially not at the new prices which have doubled in the past 12-24months. Will have to find a cheaper alternative.

Works well on light rust, but good old elbow grease helps
It work fairly well. Started fizzing as soon as I brushed it on the rust. It took quite a bit of extra wire brushing, waiting, then repeating to get rid of 90% of the rust. The photo is after 3 days of work. I brushed on the liquid (following instructions), used a wire bush on tough spots, then used Autosol metal polish on the pipes to finish. You don't get much for your money in the bottle but is better than vinegar or WD40 I think. Pros: - Worked well on light rust areas - Not much odour Cons: - Not great on tough deep rust areas - Quite expensive for the amount you get

Rust Treatment
I recall this product from years ago and how it comlemented other anti corrosion paints. Easy to apply either by brush to large surfaces or as a soak for small componants. It has provided a very usefull tool for the restoration of my 18 year old motor home where parts of the subframe had suffered from peeling powder coating. Additionally it is so economical in use and ready to overpaint very quickly.

Ce liquide fait exactement ce que j'attendais de lui: retire la rouille efficacement et facilement. 2 exemples: - j'ai utilisé un pinceau pour appliqué le produit sur un fourreau de sabre rouillé, laissé agir 15 minutes, puis utilisé de la paille de fer pour frotter un peu, et le résultat est exactement ce que j'attendais: plus de rouille, sans avoir un effet clinquant. - j'ai laissé tremper 25h une très vielle clé hexagonale complètement rouge de rouille, puis simplement essuyé la clé. Résultat: une clé comme si elle n'avait jamais connue la rouille (je n'ai pas de photo "avant", mais voici le résultat après)

Funciona muy bien sobre oxidaciones superficiales. Es el caso de oxidaciones más profundas, funciona bien pero hay que dejarlo actuar más tiempo. Es tan potente que elimina hasta la pintura de la pieza si se deja suficiente tiempo, pero la verdad es que es muy buen producto
