Great piece of kit and easy to set up. Bit of help from the supplier who was very patient with some issues i had to get it to work with my phone , but none the less well impressed with this system. Clarity of the cameras is very good in daylight and of course infared for night time is as to be expected. Once its set up play about with the settings and watch the improvement on this system. My local company wanted 3 times the price to install it so i did it myself which was fun to do. Set it up with all connected before final installation like i did just to make sure it works then off ya go and install it. Big thanks to Lee and his team for the questions i had . Sturdy metal cameras, heavier than I expected. They are wired so will need proper set up. These are fixed cameras (I assumed they were controllable but I didn't fully read the description). Maybe not the best quality at night for getting detail but still a nice system for the price. Great customer service.

Not the easiest to set up if you don't know what your doing. Bit of discourse between the app, laptop version and using the HD drive plugged into a monitor. Not straight forward even for our electrician. Good we quality images though. Works well once it's set up.

Good all round cctv good quality picture easy set up from box. Had a small problem after a power cut but a quick phone to seller and sorted in 5 minuets on phone. (just a setting problem) Nice to know there is someone there to help if you get any problems. Would recommend this set up and the company.

Paid for expensive install and IT set up which can be very complicated and worked well for a while. However after several weeks it started to alarm and only way to resolve was to reset but kept happening again after a couple of weeks. It was as though hard drive not formatted correctly to auto record over oldest data. Eventually though it stopped recording altogether and would not even allow manual record. When I went to buyer indicated on Amazon they said they had no record of transaction and so II went to Amazon who wanted entire pack returned with no other options. I explained removing the high level cameras and cable runs would be expensive to do and could I not merely exchange the hard drive as would need to have the cables ran and cameras fitted again and was told no. If I had went to a shop I would not have had this issue so I suggest anyone who wants this type of install goes via the fitting engineer or shop they can go talk to who will be reasonable.

This is a bit of Chinese kit. Now don't get me wrong, the Chinese make some of the, if not the, best kit out there. Hikvision were universally recommended to me by professionals so they must be good. The downside are the instructions. Imagine Google Transalte and then multiply it by a factor of x5. In other words, you need some common sense if you're going to DIY this product. So......out of the box, the DVR beeps repeatedly (very loud) and displays a menu which isn't the same as the menu as you see if you connect to it via your web browser. HINT: connect to the NVR via your web browser otherwise you'll never get past the first screen. Trust me on this. Another hint: initialise the hard rive to stop the beeping. No instructions on how to manipulate the cameras (work it out for yourselves) but my partner and I got there. You basically have to take the whole unit apart to see what's what. A three camera install took most of the day but that involved ripping up floorboards, carpets etc and then making good. If you're competent at DIY and possess some common sense, this is the best system to buy......very pleased with the output. But it isn't plain sailing....in doubt, pay someone to fit it for you.
