I love this brand. I own several jackets by them, but this is my warmer fall or cooler spring jacket. It is not made for colder weather, more so cool weather. Just know that going in. A bit more expensive than I feel it should be considering it doesn’t have the insulation some of its counterparts offer. It’s light weight and the technical fabrics make mobility easy, nonrestrictive. Ideal when traveling by plane and you want an option to keep you comfortable.

My son loves this brand and our local stores were out of the size he wanted. We were able to order on Amazon and receive the gift in a timely manner.

I bought this for a trip to Greenland and it was the perfect purchase, lightweight yet kept you warm in wind and cold. Note: It was not winter in Greenland but we had dats where it was 30-40F and windy so cold enough.

I was very surprised by warmth provided by this fairly light weight jacket.

I can't believe anyone at Arcteryx honestly thinks this is comparable to the same type of hoodie they sold 10 years ago. It's blatant deceit to sell such an inferior product. Every single aspect that made the old one good is bad on the new one. Everything is bad. It fits terribly compared to the old one. The materials are worse. The zipper is worse. The hood is extremely loose fitting compared to the old one. It scrunches up around your waste now like a typical jacket - the feature the old one had is gone - doesn't fit the same. It's just terrible. This blatant downgrades in quality from the same brand name is the same as lying. Just sell your jacket for the inflated dollar price instead of trying to compete with a dollar value that is 50% of what it used to be. I am returning this crap. Now you make no money. Zero.

I run warm and this jacket is good at regulating temperature.

I owned an Atom LT gifted to me in Dec. 2022. After losing that one, I bought this as a replacement. It seems that the quality of the fabric is lower, it feels more crinkly in the hand, not as soft. The fit is a bit boxier but still fine.Haven't washed it yet, so it may soften up. Warmth seems the same as the previous version.

This has been their best selling garment for years for a reason. Lightweight insulated windbreaker. With a mid layer or you can definitely wear it down into the 20s. Granted the non-hooded version probably looks better, but it’s also probably foolish to buy a technical top without a hood. Get the hoodie he’ll be glad you did whenever it’s cold and windy.
