This had to be the biggest waste of my money. It is a piece of junk and only worked about 1 day. While the LED flashing lights were "cute" and the annoying animal sounds were effective, the setting for just the "annoyance tones" quit after 1 day usage. Do not waste your money on this product. Shop elsewhere. Do not waste your hard earned money in trusting this device. You are bettter off putting glass jugs of water in your yard, it would be more effective.

Not sure how it worked, or if it worked, but it seemed to really tick the skunk off. I put it under my garage where a skunk decided to move in, and I dropped this under the floor attached to an extension cord. First night, skunk went crazy, sprayed under the garage, terrific. Then I added some ammonia bombs near his secret entrances in addition to the purchased repellent item, and it seems to be effective, although skunk smell evident big time this morning. But I have my hopes up that it is making life uncomfortable for Mr. Skunk and he may decide to pack his stinky bags and move on.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product.Had a skunk move in under the picture window of home. For 3 weeks, he'd come out around midnight and 3 AM like EVERY DAY.After doing some research on how to get rid of skunks, came upon this item with many 5 star reviews. A few had some good skunk stories. Watched some YOUTUBE videos on how it worked. Ordered that day. Upon receiving device, I charged it for 2 days under Grow light and placed it outside aimed right where the skunk was living. If he came or went he was getting red lights and high pitched sounds. < I was a bit skeptical after testing this device in the house as to whether it would work or how long it might take to vacate the animal >Since day 1 - I put it outside on night time setting and about 2 weeks out and NO SKUNK. He literally left after the first day and hasn't come back. I'd recommend this to anybody who has a skunk problem to try.-----UPDATE 7/9/19 : Repellent was blinking some wierd pattern a week ago, and not sounding the alarm at night when it should have activated. It wasn't in the best lit area so I took it inside to charge for 2 days. Upon testing, the device was still NOT WORKING. Removed the back panel and inside was clean and dry. Tested battery with mutli-meter and one was completely dead, one was 1.2v, and the other 2 were not reading normal. I also tested the battery compartment as a Series circuit and it was charging the batteries at around 7 volts - seemed like a good working charge )Took the batteries ( which are NiMH onto an old charger I had, and fully charged them ( about 8 hours on slow charge setting for the last battery to top off ). Device is working as it should again. I plan to trim some trees to give device more light. Either I have one bad cell, or the unit was not charging over time and the variance in charge kept the lowest from charging in the series circuit.I'll post update if I need to recharge again or replace. Seems like I got about 4-5 months of trouble free use before I had the issue with poorly charged cells. Trees + Leaves = Shade time > low charged device. STill keeping 5 stars for unit keeping skunks away.Edit 11-12-20Still no skunks, device still working great. If it stops working I would buy again.

The monitor was easy to install, appears to work most of the time. Have had issues with charging the batteries even though unit is in full sun all day. Tried to increase Soundwave, worked for awhile, deer ate new growth anyway. Not sure if i'd buy again.

Possum still come around almost every night. A feral cat took up residence near the darn thing and one cat just plopped down in front of it. Isnt working for me. I regret I got it.

I tried to install this tool and after a few days no more pets came to my place this product is very good I like it.
