By far this seems most useful for somebody with a home studio, primarily for video recording or also for photography. There are certainly other uses, anything you can think to attach, but that’s definitely the focus here, starting with the 1/4” screw mount size.If you try to put together a home studio, whether for music, podcasts, or just to stream yourself playing games, if you plan on using video, you’ll want lighting. Technically these could mount softbox or umbrella lights, though they work best with my preferred option, LED panels. If you have a backdrop, that’s two tripod legs, and each light is another. If you use a real camera (not a webcam), that’s another tripod, or two if you use a camera slider / shuttle.Before you know it, there’s a million tripods crammed in. If you play games and have a Vive, that’s usually another 2. All these require sandbags to not fall over, and takes up valuable room.Ditch the stands, reverse mount LED panels from the ceiling, and now you have far fewer poles. Do the same for Vive lighthouses. You can even mount a camera slider for automatic pans, or just screw on a ball head mount.My tripod cost 350, for 350 you can get a lot of these. Obviously a tripod still has uses, but these are really useful. Add on the extra arms and stuff if you need special angles, etc. Anything that you don’t want moving is a good candidate to mount woth these.

Used for ceiling mounting a projector in a home theatre - comes with both standard projector centre-mounting screw sizes as well as concrete bolts. Screw holes also provided for ceiling screws. Verry happy with this product.

Good design, sturdy enough for most uses. In quite satisfied with it.

Installed quickly and I felt like I could have done pull ups from them. Super for holding my new LED lights and the getting the tripod stands OUT OF MY LIFE! Thank you

The rivets attaching the upright to the base seemed to be loose fitting on this stand. I really liked the look and feel of the stand, but the wobbly rivets made me return it and buy a different style of camera stand.

I like the product is what i was looking for but it didnt came with the screws so i cant do anything with it yet
