My husband and I bought this because we have a meat delivery subscription and we also buy bagged ice and keep lots of cold packs in the freezer for our ice chest. Things were starting to get tight and we were running out of room, so we went on the hunt for a small freezer, just for overflow. After much shopping around, and not wanting to spend too much $$$$, we decided on this Igloo 3.5 CF chest freezer. It arrived yesterday and was a breeze to unpack and move to our extra room. We plugged it in and then went out to dinner, and upon our return it was nice and cold, so we transferred our bag of ice and ice packs over to it. I left the temperature control knob set on 4 (as recommended in the manual) and placed a thermometer inside, which puts the temp at about 15 degrees F. I've checked it a couple times since (don't want to keep opening it unless I need to) and it has held steady at 15 degrees. There is a surprising amount of room inside this unit and we will get lots of use out of it. Mine arrived in pristine condition with no scratches or dents, and the black is very sleek looking. Also, it's whisper quiet, as we cannot hear it running at all. I will update this review if there are any changes, but so far we are thrilled with this Igloo freezer!

3.5 cu. ft. is great size for 2 people. We're using it in order to prevent our refrigerator freezer from being packed to the max. Also, it's made in America. Unpacking is easy too. I can't speak about its reliability because we only had it for 2 weeks.

Bought this to freeze and store breast milk. I just filled it up, it holds about 900 ounces of breastmilk, at least the way I’ve stored it. Keeps my milk in a deep freeze with a small footprint. I bought a separate freezer thermometer to make sure it’s in a deep freeze since you can’t tell the temp by the dial on the freezer, that’s my only complaint.

I must admit we bought this mini freezer for our pups since we have 4 and they are all on the fresh food subscription. I spent hours and hours figuring out which freezer to buy. Finally settled on this Igloo. Then I held off hoping it would be discounted for a Prime Day deal or Black Friday... nope... never happened. So, for Christmas, I broke down and purchased. I was nervous because of the negative reviews about dents. Actually I was more than nervous. But, I took a chance and hoped I'd be one of the fortunate ones. Well, power of prayer... ours is perfect. It arrived very well packaged and insulated. The box was pristine, even thru all the handling in transit. We carefully unpacked it, and I was elated that it was also in perfect condition. Plugged it in and it started getting cold pretty quickly. I waited about 24 hours to put a few items to make sure the food would stay frozen because a few reviews mentioned issues with keeping food frozen and having to discard their food. We have it on setting 4 which is how it came and the food is perfectly frozen. It's much easier now to organize and store their food. Also, it is EXTREMELY quiet. It's in our kitchen, and the only time I hear a slight sound is when the compressor kicks in, but it doesn't run for long. And, it comes with wheels that are hidden, so it's a clean look and easy to move when cleaning the floor. This freezer is exactly as described. And, the best part is we get our freezer back so we can put food for us... haha. The only thing is I'm still trying to find freezer baskets that fit because the dimensions are a bit smaller than most baskets I'm finding... including Igloo. However, I'm very glad we made the investment, and our pups are too. They now stand at their freezer to tell me they are hungry. Haha!

The freezer is very light weight and quiet. If I set it at 4 as recommended, the temperature barely touch zero degree F. I have to try several settings and finally set at 4.5 and the temperature is about -1F. Overall it seems to be a good small freezer. I just got it for about 3 weeks and so far so good !

I loved this igloo freezer! The function was really easy to understand! Durability is great for the cost. Looks was great no dents or damage when got delivered! Size is decent. Temperature really good stays cold to whatever setting you want it to be. And the noise level was completely nonexistent! Definitely worth it!

Ok. So I thought I'd take a shot in hopes that I would get a quite pricey small freezer through Amazon without it being damaged. Well that was not to be so. So here's the facts. The box wasn't damaged when it reach my home. So that means the damage wasn't caused during shipping and they can't be blamed. So the only logical cause was that it was already damaged when it was boxed at the manufacturer. That means it was damaged by the manufacturer employees and shipped knowing full well it was damaged. You see, the styrofoam that encased all around the unit edges and corners was in perfect condition when it was unboxed. They had to have seen it when putting it in the box and protective styrofoam. This is very disappointing. I got this one because of the number of good reviews. For the fact it's an Igloo brand as well. My question now is....how long will it run? I am not a wealthy person. I got this to try to save some money.not throw it away. If I were you Mr. Vendor I would be making a phone call to the folks that you got this from. Your reputation is at stake.
