The seat was hard, nearly as hard as the hardwood chair where it was intended to be used. If your choice is for a sturdy hard seat, then this item is for you. The contour of the cushion fits fare, just too hard for me. I was expecting more like Tempur-Pedic comfort. You will have to decide. I went back and ordered a new one of different brand. One which was like another I purchased. No, I would not recommend this item if you are looking for a firm soft cushion.

Seems to fit me fine. Only time will tell if it holds up.Will update after 30 days of vehicle use.It’s molded so may not fit everyone.

My girlfriend works from home and she does not like the ridges and dips. The cushion is fine but it slides off her chair, its not comfortable for her. But its worth a try.

Very comfy. Gives great pressure relief especially with the ergonomic memory foam. Would recommend.

There's a good balance between stability and softness with this. It's also very thick, so if you chair isn't adjustable or isn't adjustable enough, it could function as a small booster in addition to being comfortable to sit on. Its default width takes up a standard computer chair, so if you wanted this for anything uncommonly large, it should be able to accommodate. The contours are nice, but aren't so exaggerated that it gets in the way of sitting at angles, sideways, or anything other than unnaturally-perfect-forward, though there is an obvious preference toward that kind of idealized posture. It isn't so soft or squishy that you'll feel like you sink into it, so it's more for a kind of active and alert seated position than end-of-the-day decompressing relaxation.
