Confirmed to Work on PC and Switch 1 and 2 as of Switch Firmware 21.0.0
It was easy to set up on switch but quite the hassle on pc. That was my own fault though honestly, The booklet that comes with it (don't lose it! You need it to remember how to switch modes) recommends to use project 64 and I tried to use Mupen 64. Project64 you need to turn on the xinput plugin on the configuration menu. then input the buttons yourself. Also an update, I got it working on Mupen64 on Retroarch, you just have to manually set the buttons yourself, and keep it in x-input mode for that too. Go to settings>input>retropad binds>port 1 controls. It will come up as an Xbox360 controller. Scroll down to D-Pad Up, click on it, then press the d-Pad up on your controller, then do the same as you go down the list. Super easy! on Project 64 you make your selections using a drop down menu, Here's what I got working on Project 64, and the controller was in Mode B X-Input Layout (LED1&2 were lit) XControl_________N64_____________XControl_________N64 A__________________A_______________LB________________L B__________________B_______________RB________________R X_______________C-Down__________LThSB__________C-Right Y_______________C-Left____________RThSB___________C-UP Back_____________None___________LT________________Z Start______________Start_____________RT_____________None -D-Pad and Thumbsticks Configuration- XControl_______________N64 Left Thumbstick ---- Analog Stick Right Thumbstick ----- None D-Pad ------------------ Dpad --- I haven't tested it on N64 yet but so far so great! Also, the rumble did work on ours! the controllers feel just like the original, but new! the buttons and stick feels great too. I also really like the settings and home button on the controller so you can navigate to the home menu on the switch, or open the nintendo 64 online menu while in a game. The controller also come with replacement analog sticks and cables to charge the controllers!

Great controller to use on an original N64
Great controller, feels and play just like the original and work perfectly. Plug and play with my original N64. In ways, it looks more premium quality than the original one, haha. I definitely recommend this!

Nostalgic look and feel, compatible with more games
I like these controllers a lot! They feel and look great and so close to the original. The weight is light yet they seem durable. I’ve dropped my gray one multiple times on a tile floor over concrete without any damage. They connect fast and easy when you want to play. No lag. Batteries last a long time and charge simply by plugging a type c usb cable into the charge port. All the buttons work well as well as the analog stick. I use this with emulators for n64 on my MacBook and it works flawlessly. I’ve also used it for snes emulators after doing some button remapping and no problems there. They are a tad bit expensive but when you compare it to buying an og n64 with cartridge games you’re actually saving a lot of money by buying these and playing your classic favorites via your pc or Mac.

Decent controllers, not easy to set up.
Build quality is fine, nothing special. Buttons respond quickly, no noticable input latency but they do feel a little clackier than the original controller. Once configured, the user experience has been great. These do ship with adapters so you can use them with the original console, as well as usb-A to usb-C cables to charge them with. Connectivity is easy to establish, you just have to pair it with the included USB receiver, and then press start when you see the flashing light every time you turn it on going forward. My problem with these controllers is compatibility. I've had mixed results with platforms being able to detect all of the buttons - most seem to not be able to see the start, R trigger, and B buttons at all out of the box. I was able to get all of them to work except for the D pad by using jstest to interpret its I/O signals and then building out my own custom config files, which may be a bit outside of the skill level of the average user. The problem with the D pad is that they're sending positive and negative 2-axis data like an analog stick instead of on/off button data like the original controller does. As a result, I have been unable to get them to work on any platform, so there's approximately 5 games in the N64 catalog that will likely not be playable with these controllers. Bottom line - if you're willing and able to do some extra work to get them running these can be a decent retro gaming solution. If you're looking for a plug-and-play solution that just works, you may want to look elsewhere.

Doesn't work with Nintendo Switch!
These are horrible and don't connect to the switch. I went online to troubleshoot they said make sure your software is updated, it is. They said make sure the controllers are fully charged, they are. I plugged in the USB to the switch console and paired it to the controllers and the switch doesn't recognize it at all. I cannot actually get them to work on the switch so don't waste your money.

I have 2 wired controllers but I wanted wireless one which were close to the original. Those controllers are awesome. They work exactly as expected and even have a rumble pak integrated. The only differences I did notice were that the push buttons are harder to push than the original (but it is very old) and the analog stick does not have the small notches at 8 positions, it rotates freely. There is also no indication about the position of the rumble swith is on or off... I highly recommand them. Update : After using them for some weeks, they are just perfect. USB is working great. One of my friend, who is a huge fan of N64 was really impressed. Update (april 2024) : One of the controller failed :( the seller was very kind to help me to test it on a PC computer. It was working but not with my N64. The seller was just really fine and send me a new one for free). During shipping, I was playing with the second one from my first order and it also failed.... I received the new one and, no troubles so far. So I tested one old controller with the new receiver and all was working fine. I did investigate on internet for firmware updates. Actually, those controllers are working with the Retro-Bit V2 firmware for their tribute64 controller. I did flash all the receivers (USB and N64) and now it's working fine. I can not garantee that it will work for everybody but it solved the problem for me and it may be usefull for people having troubles. I still believe that those controllers are the best third party controllers available.

The controller feels nicely and colors resemble the originals. Good weight. I didn't notice any input lag. 8 have a generic memory pack and it works well with the controller receiver.
