They are completely sealed and have an aroma butron on the front. They would not be vacuumed tight against the beans as they would be with ground coffee, but I understand this is how all beans are packed. This particular coffee is the one I always buy as we love its flavour. A good strength, all Arabica and not harsh or bitter. Not a "burnt" roast. Always arrives fresh with at least a year ahead as the Best Before Date. Hope you find this helpful.

What the heck does decaffinated 32nds mean? Are these decaf or regular beans?

Seems like a misprint/printing error to me. The Lavazza Super Crema shown in the picture (and these are the ones I have reviewed) are regular coffee beans. Not decaffeinated. These are regular beans.
