Q: Will it work on an outside door handle? I nicked it with a sander and need a small touchup

I believe it would work for you. I've antiquated metal frames with it and it stayed on those frames just fine ! It may need to be buffed or reapplied if in direct sunlight. I don't know how it will stand up to a lot of handling though. but it's pretty durable.

Q: Have you tried it On a shower surround that is brass? I'm looking to update and not replace... Even if it is just the outside.

I did not try it in on a shower surround but on our pewter sink - which had water running directly on it several times per day. It worked great. I just had to reapply every several weeks. That would be a lot cheaper than replacing the shower surround!

Q: Does this product fully dry to the touch or does it remain malleable/wettish like an actual wax?

I believe it’s pretty dry to touch in a day or so, perhaps longer. I’ve put it on drawer pulls & it doesn’t rub off.

Q: Is the black metallic?

I don’t have experience with that color so I can’t help you. I used one of the gold colors and it was metallic.
