This is the best! My lips have been so dry, peeling & cracking for a while now. I have tried so many things from Vaseline to high end products, even a toothbrush. After reading the reviews on here , I thought I would try it. It works so well…so well I am kinda shocked. It hasn’t even been a week & my lips are so smooth & with no cracks or peeling. It’s a bit gritty with a smooth feeling too, if that makes sense. I don’t know how ELF figured this one out, but it is amazing.(I have the strawberry, but it’s not at all overwhelming). It’s great.

It actually works. I suffer with dead skin on my lips and everything from Vaseline to very hydrating lip glosses don't seem to get rid of it but instead just soften it. But the skin is stubborn and always stays until I physically peel it off. (Don't do it it hurts)But this surprisingly actually worked.

The positives are that it is very affordable - especially if purchased 50% off, for $2.50 per lip scrub. I love how easy this lip scrub is to use. Additionally, the scents - for the most part - are very pleasant. Next, the taste for each one is subtle - either a good or a bad thing, depending on the user. Lastly, my lips feel exfoliated and moisturized after use, but not for a very long time - it's recommended to wear lip balm after exfoliating.For context, I don't have cracked lips, but I thought that maybe I'd purchase this fun looking product and add it to my routine in some way. Below, I review the scent and taste of each one I purchased. But first I will mention the moisturizing and exfoliating quality of these lip scrubs.When it comes to the moisturizing quality of the exfoliating lip scrubs, I have a few notes to share. I recommend using these when your lips are already dry and without lip balm or lip oil applied. This lip scrub will make your lips feel exfoliated and moisturized after about half a minute of use or less. The product won't scrub your lips once they're moisturized - the scrubs will start feeling like lip balm. Interesting, I know. But regardless, use these for about half a minute, scrub in circular motions, and then apply lip balm or lip oil. I enjoy the feeling of my lips being exfoliated, and I enjoy the temporary hydration from these, but I would not go without using my current lip oil afterwards. The hydration from these won't last long.Below, I review the scent and taste of each one I purchased.Scent & Taste - Coffee. Very light scent and taste. This one, I believe, was underwhelming compared to the others I tried. I would not repurchase for myself or as a gift.Scent & Taste - Cotton Candy. Delightfully sweet scent and subtle taste. This one easily has the nicest scent out of all three I purchased. I purchased two of these and gave one to a family member, and she thought it smelled great too. This one is a good gift choice.Scent & Taste - Popcorn. Terrific popcorn scent; very buttery scent, like movie theater popcorn. The taste is slightly sweet, but not very reminiscent of popcorn in any way - not like caramel popcorn either. Just a slightly generic sugar taste. Still worth purchasing for the scent, in my opinion!I would recommend the Cotton Candy and Popcorn variants of this lip scrub, as a gift, but not Coffee. For personal use, I would prefer something with a stronger taste. This is why I reduced a star.

I had used this product before but it was many years ago so I don’t really recall if I liked it or not. My lips are always chapped for some reason but the last week or so I had some spots that just would not go away no matter how much or how many different lip products I used. I ordered this last night and used it as soon as it arrived today and I am IMPRESSED. The chapped spots are gone after one use and my lips are smooth again! Will be using this regularly and forever!

Ever since I was a little girl my lips would turn dark from what my mom would call “an inner fever” which she used to give me Tylenol for & it would clear up. However I grew allergic to anything w/ Tylenol, ibuprofen & Advil as an adult resulting in my lips unexplainably getting darker without a cure.I’ve tried different lip exfoliator’s, moisturizers & lip masks with varying success over the years. I never really stuck with any of them because my medication gives me dry mouth & I think it plays a part in keeping this dark lip pigment condition on going. However even with dry mouth & not using a different lip product during the day, the change in my lips pigmentation has been improving daily. It’s a subtle difference, but the consistency of results can’t be refuted & it’s also boosting my self esteem. I’m not good at using makeup, and literally 85% of the time I leave the house is barefaced. Yet it was my lips causing me more insecurities over my barefaced spots & dark eye bags.Thus I highly recommend this lip exfoliator & couldn’t be happier with the results.

I used to love this stuff when it was in bullet lipstick form. It worked amazingly well, kept its shape and exfoliated like a dream. For some reason, this version is so much softer and falls apart as you use it, which makes a big mess. I found more success using my finger, which defeats the purpose of it being in a stick, but even then it didn't exfoliate well and I resorted to wiping it off and using friction instead. They should definitely go back to the older formula. I think I'll go back to the old school method of lip balm and sugar for now.

I use before my makeup routine and it gets dry patchy skin of my lips. I just wipe out with a tissue.

I. Wish .. I. Could... Give extra stars ..lol this is so smart. Convenient. But most important it works. No mess no fuss lip exfoliation.
