This cable tie tool is effective, easy to use and leaves the cable ties with a neat finish, free of sharp edges. The adjuster is great for different size cable ties or for different tensions. If over tightened it can lead to the cable tie snapping or being cut too short and falling off but this is easily fixed by lowering the tension. The tool seems very sturdy and well built although I use it for DIY so have only trimmed a few hundred cable ties. I'd thoroughly recommend this, particularly over trimming with side cutters or knife.

this item feels comfortable in use and is very easy to use---cuts ties close --I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing--but I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS YET so see how things pan out after a few hundred ties--keep you posted.

Excellent quality tool. Works perfectly leaving a sharp free end. Miles better than the first one I bought that was cheaper but didn't work right.

Initially I tried it on small cable ties and it left 2-3mm sticking out. I tried it on larger ties and it left less sticking out, but still enough to rip any skin that was unfortunate enough to come into contact with it.I returned it, as too dangerous to use!

robust and cuts clean, good product

Does a really good job at tightening zip-ties via the adjustable tensioner. Cuts excess zip-tie flush leaving no sharp edges. Well recommended.
