Bought for our 3 yr old to amuse him whilst on holiday and travelling in car. Easy to use (He can be left to switch it on and play CDs himself). It is certainly robust - I knocked it off a top shelf of his wardrobe onto a laminate floor and it still works absolutely fine! Great picture and sound is better than previous players we have bought. Highly recommended.
