Love that the base is a simple wood with no finish on it so very easy to paint for crafts and great size. Large is big enough to fit one size 9 male shoe in if you go by how big the inside is.

The color wasn’t a deep red. More of a light strawberry color. Wanted a Christmas red color. Did not unshrinkwrap it so can’t speak of quality when opening etc. Returned it.

Perfect box just what I was looking for only wish bottom was in same wood had to reinforce myself

Arrived in manufacturer’s box, inside Amazon cardboard box. Wood very thin and VERY dry, securely heat sealed in plastic then placed inside manufacturer’s carton. Outside (Amazon box) undamaged and unblemished. Manufacturer’s shipping box fit product perfectly and was unbroken and unblemished. Product itself broken inside, hinges very cheap brass and twisted, one ripped out of wood, chunks of wood missing INSIDE manufacturer’s SEALED plastic. All packing material in perfect condition. The broken box was broken at the point of manufacture, and they didn’t bother to put all the pieces back inside before they plastic wrapped and shipped it BROKEN. I am a designer and I have never seen flimsier hinges. They were twisted, and I flattened them back out using only my fingers. One very cheap piece of ribbon stabilizing one side of box. We’re it not there the lid would have ripped off the box.Very bad quality!

Great size and just what I needed.

This box is a good quality item and will probably last a very long time with basic care.I am overall happy with my purchase.The only problem / issue is that I ordered the box in BLACK. The box that was delivered is BROWN.The small sticker on the clear wrap the box was enclosed in even said BLACK but in no realm or alternate universe could the box I received be considered BLACK.I do like the size and quality. It wasn't worth the hassle to return it so I decided to just purchase some paint and make it the color I ordered myself. I would recommend but be aware that the item you receive might not be the color you ordered.

Die Box kam gut verpackt, tadellos hier an.Sie ist sehr gut verarbeitet. Sie schließt perfekt ab, die Scharniere sind gut montiert und das Holz ist glatt ohne Splitter oder unschöne Stellen.Ich habe sie mit einem Brennstab verziert. Das ging sehr gut. Würde sie immer wieder bestellen.
