the sound changes when wet bet if fine when dry again batter lasts a verry long time. sound is loud clear and with a good bit of base. all round grate product.

Speaker was great when it arrived. After about 2 months of use the sound is very crackly and distorted. There are no options for return or repair as the return window ended 1 week after I received the product. Just got to hope Amazon see this review and get in contact.

Received my unit today - the packaging was on a premium quality, and I had high hopes for the product following the hype from the KickStarter campaign.On taking the device out, I noticed the rubber edging didn't sit flush with the speaker itself - a minor cosmetic flaw, but a very noticeable one.Looking under the rubber edging, I can see a mess of glue - for a speaker that claims waterproof and sandproof capabilities, I really expected a better seal.Switching the device on and hooking up my phone was a breeze however.On the other hand, I have to admit I'm quite disappointed with the sound quality. Highs sound muddied rather than crisp and there's no higher end sparkle.In it's defence, the unit produces a fair amount of bass for it's size, and can get quite loud without too much distortion. One strange element on my unit is the pitch seems to change as volume changes.Overall, the speaker was disappointing, but that may just be due to the hype from the campaign - other buyers may have more down-to-earth expectations, and find this perfectly adequate.Considering the UE Boom (my favourite budget bluetooth speaker to date) is currently available from various sources for only £99 and blows this out the water in terms of sound quality, I'd recommend any one that truly wants to get the BEST sound experience without the need for "sand proofing" to go for that instead :)I'll post some pictures and a full review on my blog shortly :)

Excellent sound quality. Great battery life. Easy to connect to devices. Perfect size for taking out and about. Very happy

I still can't believe how good this speaker is.I've had it for 4 days now and It's with me all the time, I'm going to get at least one more.It is really as good as you want it to be, can't wait to take it camping and bring it to the beach.

Absolutely fantastic sounds, great base, mid range and outstanding definition.The set-up & Bluetooth connection are so easy its child play. Easily connects to my iPhone & iPad Air and it reaaly was worth the wait

The only way i can listen to podcasts in the shower is by bringing my phone into the bathroom, which is crazy.The maximum range is apparently 10m, but this must exclude walls, because at 3.5m mine struggles.I have tried with multiple phones.I never give one star ratings, but in this case the product is rendered useless to me.

What a fantastic piece of kit! The sound quality from such a small unit is superb - the clarity crisp - the bass remarkable good from something so small - get one, you won't be disappointed ......
