This belt fits exactly as described. It is an excellent protection against strain with a stoma. It is also serving to keep the bag in place. If you have done any medical reading than you know that you are more likely to have a hernia when you wear an ostomy bag of any type for a long extended time. The elastic is an excellent quality and it is stiff and stays in place, it does not slide when you move or walk. It stays hidden under clothing, I wish I had bought mine before surgery, however my wonderful surgeon did not advise me to do so. It is very easy to put on and take off. I have gone through four of these belts and this one is the best. I would highly recommend it and will probably where it post surgery too just to protect my surgical site.

I have a new urostomy, 4 months, and have a bit of a belly and back issues. Prior to the operation I almost always wore a support belt for my back. I noticed my belly starting to stick out a bit where my ostomy is and after speaking to others was told to get a support belt before I developed a hernia, which had probably already started so to help prevent it from worsening, and what to look for. I saw this and it fit the bill and then some. Well it is a really good choice for sure no need to look any further. I needed the Large size and chose 6" tall, I measure 53" around the middle, and it fits perfectly. It has plenty of adjustment to go bigger or smaller. Like others I took off the plastic support attached with Velcro. It is comfortable, provides the support where needed and my back even feels a little benefit from it. I highly recommend it and I am sure if you are anything like me will want an extra for when it's in the wash.

I love this hernia belt. I hold great. It shrinks a lot after you wash it. So be aware I ordered the size I wanted and it shrink to fit perfectly. Was very large before wash.This is a great belt and a very very reasonable price. I have seen them in the $100.00 range. This works great For Me.

I ordered a size up expecting it to fit tight but it actually is right on. Great quality.

The plastic support around my stoma broke. It should be more flexible
