Great little umbrellas for strobe lights.
I needed very small umbrellas for a tight working space and these worked perfectly. Construction seems to be solid at a great price.

Smaller than most umbrellas, but a lot of benefits to them being small!
I have not done the math to try and figure out if these umbrellas' size makes them perform any different than the larger umbrellas I own. What I do know is that they fit in the cases with my studio lights, so they stay pretty clean in the cases. My other umbrellas, get gross after awhile because the covers never last (unless you get a really good one), and they get beat up riding around in the back of my vehicle. These are also a little easier to edit out of the wedding photos I take, since they are so much small than the usual umbrella. AND, I think it is less likely the wind is going to catch it, but I am not sure I have really put that theory to the test yet, and I probably wouldn't (at the cost of breaking a bulb). I am actually going to order a couple more, so I can keep one in the case with each of my four lights. That way, if I forget a larger umbrella, I have backup.

Worked Fine
I needed some small photography umbrellas for lights going into a cramped space. The bottoms were a bit on the sharp side as one other review noted, but overall these worked out just fine.

The good and not so good
First, these umbrella arrived this evening so I haven't used them photography yet and tested them and these are first impressions. I would have preferred something a bit larger, maybe 20-25 inches, but couldn't find a shoot through umbrella that size.Cons: Upon getting through the cellophane wrappers realized these mini umbrellas don't have a cover/case like my shoot through umbrella so even closed the fabric will be flopping around and being white no protection from dirt/dust. I will use the cellophane wrappers for now. The metal ends are rough and sharp so be prepared with to do a little sanding, filing or something else to deal with ends. My larger umbrella is nicely machined with the edges slightly turned inward so they aren't rough and sharp. I can see myself cutting myself on the sharp edges of the end or maybe it will scratch my equipment if it's in my bag.Pluses: Small, lightweight and portable. They opened and closed easily. Probably will be good to diffuse your speedlight or whatever else to spread light a bit and soften hardness of lighting for portraits or additional lighting in shots.I will update if I have anything to add.

Mini- they said mini but I didn’t listen
They are small! I missed this part. I should have measured. Just slightly too big for a Pina Colada but great quality!

I am a photographer and needed umbrellas not so large and intimidating when doing toddler portraits or baby photos and this was exactly what I needed
