Beware. Even if genuine you need two capsules daily of French Nutrof Total instead of 1 capsule daily for English product..
The instructions are in French and specify two capsules per day. Previous purchases in English specify one capsule per day.Two key components Lutein and Zeaxanthin have lower content per capsule in the "French" capsules.French has 5mg Lutein, English 10mg Lutein per capsule. French has 1 mg Zeaxanthin, English has 2 mg Zeaxanthin. French has zero Selenium, English has 25 micron Selenium. French Zinc contains 7.5mg, English Zinc has 10 mg. One the other hand French Vitamin E has higher content than the English, 15mg versus 10 mg.Assuming the French product is not a forgery, you need to pay for two capsules instead of one for an inferior product.Is an investigation called for?, whereas each French capsule has 5 mg Lutein. Worth a look.
My wife's optician recommended these for retinal maintenance. I am diabetic and my annual check showed a retinal change which persuaded my optician to refer me to the consultant. This was in October 2013. My wife persuaded me to take these capsules too. I did. In February 2014 the consultant could find no trace of the problem the optician had seen.Was this due to Nutrof? I don't know, but taking them was the only change in diet or medication. I will continue with them.Needless to say, my wife is also continuing and believes the capsules have improved her itchy eyes.

Ensure medication/supplements are from reputable sources
I recently ordered these on Amazon, and received a 3-month supply from Poland - 6 boxes with all the information printed on the boxes in Polish! I phoned the UK helpline in Staffordshire, and was advised that they could not guarantee that these Nutrof from Poland were authentic. I am returning these capsules, and will not order them via Amazon in the future.
