Yes it does. It means you can change your PIN and update your certificates on your ID card.

Yes, it works with Belgium eID (you need to install Belgium ID software to your computer). Also It works with Mac OS. It should install automatically all necessary drivers for that. If not, they are available from Gemalto website.

I'm sorry, but this device does not work with Android devices. It has full size USB port and you can't even connect it to smartphones with Micro USB ports

One time payment. You are buying this device and keeping it for yourself. Just a reminder that there is no software included. Windows itself can't read the smart cards. Usually card issuer provides correct software that is needed for your card. There isn't any universal software. Each card has different purpose, therefore different software.

Must be for Estonian ID card owners

Works very well with Estonian ID card. So all virtual residents of Estonia would need this as well.Got voted without any problems.

Ideal for an eResidency card

After problems with a different company's card reader I decided to spend a bit more and get a Gemalto product as I've used their 2FA fobs before. It's well made and connects out of the box. Wish I'd bought it first.

Windows Yes, Mac No

Arrived very quickly with same day delivery as i needed it before the end of the day so very happy about that. Tried it on my Partners Mac Yosemite first and unfortunately it did not work. I just could not find the driver anywhere and it didnt do anything on plug in. So tried it on my Laptop. I ise windows 10 and it worked straight away. Installed itself and was ready to use within 5 minutes. Super easy. Thats why i would give it 4 stars. It you are using only a Mac, please be well informed to avoid disappointment.
