I will never stop embarrassing my husband by wearing a fanny pack,,,never. This fanny pack was bought because it was touted as being waterproof which I did not test but I believe it would in fact hold water out. There are 3 rows of zip lock at the top, and it rolls down and then velcro holds it down. No one expects velcro to hold back water but water would have to get past the rolled down top and then through 3 levels of zip locked areas in order to get into this bag, I don't see it happening. I put my phone, car keys and a front pocket wallet in it and it was flat and protected everything. you could put more in it but it would not be as flat and because of the 3 zip lock areas each time you need to get something out you have to undo and then rezip everything so I really only use it for things I absolutely do not want to get wet or lose. I wore the clear one while bicycling where I don't need to access those things very often. I wore it in the rain and everything was protected. I would feel confident wearing it in the ocean if I had to but I didn't have to. I think these look cool, they are transparent, the bluish one is slightly less transparent, very beach like. It came as a 2 pack but my husband refuses to wear one, but then he asks me to put his phone in mine which it fits but it is snug, we both have S9 phones. If you need water protection for items these will work, if you need to carry lipstick, sunglasses, phone and a large wallet this won't work.

These worked great while in the water and snorkeling in Mexico. After I tested it, I trusted it to my phone and camera. Nothing got wet and I was secure knowing my valuables were on my person and not on the beach while I was in the water. Make sure it is closed securely and keep the sand out of the ziplocks! Worked great!

These worked amazing! I was super skeptical, but everything I put in here stayed dry. I needed something for a water park to keep money, cards and phone in. We down raft rides, swam, and stayed in the water most if the day. I would recommend being sure to roll the little zips they way they show on the little instruction card, and drying it off a bit before opening. I was not paid or given this item to try, I was just really impressed!

I tested this today with a tissue. It really is waterproof! You do need to be careful when opening after it’s been it has been wet because the first strip gets wet. I dried it off, opened the Velcro lip, dried the first strip then opened the next two strips and pulled out a dry tissue!!! Also, it floats! I had to hold it down with my hand to submerge it.

Snaps shut twice. Double protection.
