Does this work with .ma4 files?

The transcription software is what tells you what type of files can be played, not the pedal. So if your software can play .m4a files and if Alto Edge pedal is compatible with your software, you should be fine.

Is there a manufacturer's warranty with this product? I've now owned two Infinity foot pedals and an having issues with both.

Will this work just as well with mac os catalina? it should, if it is really plug and play... but...

The Alto Edge USB Transcription Foot Pedal works well on my MacBook with an OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6. My MacBook only has a C-Port and no USB port so I have to use my USB to C-Port adaptor that came with my Mac. Overall I find this foot pedal to be accurate and sturdy.

What is the difference between this foot pedal and the Infinity IN-USB-2 foot pedal?

I have this foot pedal....it must be a USB-3.....fast forward....play....rewind.....I'm not sure what a USB-2 is. It works excellent. I would rate this highly.
