Stowaway Packable Duffel Bag, 45L, Onyx

We have used this twice already on our overseas trips as our “overflow” bag and love it. It is very compact when folded and easy to take on all trips, and when we need extra space on the return (after all our shopping :) we just stuff our shoes and old clothes into this. It has a nice deep side pocket which one can use for shoes or dirty laundry… I would recommend purchasing a bright color so it’s easily visible on the luggage belt and does not get lost. The material is not too thin and feels durable.

This packs quite tight and is great to bring on trips if I need to check a bag and bring this as an extra carryon for souvenirs. I’ll admit, I haven’t fully put it to the test in packing it full and knocking it around, so I don’t know how well the seams will hold up over time, but it feels like it’s decent enough quality for how small it gets when packed.

I like this versatile packable duffel as a just in case. It's large and lightweight with durable fabric. The quality seems to be pretty good and I like the brown color - it's kind of a coyote brown. My only complaint is how much room the shoe storage can take up in the main compartment. There's just too much fabric that gets in the way. The duffel doesn't have any structure so it's a little hard to keep pushing the extra fabric out of the way if you're packing or unpacking the bag. Overall, I still like it and was a great value for the money (I bought it at $35).

I needed a very lightweight duffel for camping and this fit the bill. There's enough side pockets to keep non clothing items handy, and using some nylon tube laundry bags for clean vs dirty underthings helped separate what would have been a mishmash inside. The exterior allowed dirt and sand to be brushed off easily and it stood out well in the airport luggage scrimmage. Very nice work.

I brought this packable duffle bag as an addition to my carry on method for my trip to Japan. I like to keep my bag with me going to a destination, that way it can’t be lost as a checkin (I don’t care coming back home). I also like to travel light so a carry on works for me. However, I wanted the option of more room, this duffle is it. It packs down fairly small and I broke it out the last two days to put my clothes in. I used my rolling carry on for fragile souvenirs and heavy/sharp items. I checked the duffle in and it survived without a tear or scratch. Unfolded, it is large and has no structure at all (that’s why I put clothes in it). There is a trolly “sleeve” to hook onto a roller bag. Material feels thicker than expected for a packable item. That helps with checking it in. I’m very happy with it. Thanks to this bag I was able to trek two weeks in Japan with just a roller carry on, a backpack, and also bring back plenty of souvenirs without feeling limited by huge luggage the whole time I was there.

I pay cash for my reviews and don't take freebies to be biased. I like the overall quality of this bag but I found it is VERY difficult to fold it up and not be bunched up - taking up more room than I'd like. The whole point is to take a spare bag that is "Packable" and doesn't take up extra suitcase room. This fails in that regard, IMO. I've had other brands that were easily folded back into original shape. I don't want to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get this one folded flat. If it isn't easy or intuitive it's a hassle, not a help.

Super bag. This thing is light good looking I keep it rolled up under a seat. If I have to stop by a store and grab it every time I go in easy to fill from food to other things. Look like a shoplifter have fun when you’re in Marshalls Hang any clothes or other items you’re buying over it like a satchel then let them pack it at the register so you can walk out and style cheers specially useful with the beer store holds two cases of beer if you stand them on the short end up.

I bought this item a couple of weeks ago primarily for a weekend trip to visit family. I really wanted something lightweight that I could stuff into my suitcase just in case I needed extra space on the way back. When I first took it out of the package, I was surprised at how compact it was. It's super light and folds up real nice, which is great if you're short on luggage space. The ripstop material feels sturdy too, so I'm not super worried about it tearing easily. I actually used it as my main bag for a quick getaway, and overall, it performed well. I was able to fit in a couple of outfits, my toiletry kit, and some shoes without it feeling too stuffed. I even threw in a light jacket. One thing I noticed is that the straps could be a bit more padded; I felt them digging into my shoulder when I was carrying it for an extended period. But honestly, for the price and the convenience, I think it’s a solid option. Oh, and I really love that it can be packed into its own pocket. Makes it super easy to toss in my larger luggage. The zipper worked fine, but I’d say be cautious with overloading it, as I think it might struggle under heavy weight. If you’re just looking for something to help with short trips or as a reliable backup, I’d totally recommend it. Just keep in mind the strap comfort issue if you're planning to carry it for long distances.
