Good replacement for Sansa Clip Jam
My Sansa Clip Jam broke (USB connector broke), so I purchased the Klangtop to replace it. The Klangtop is a good replacement for the Sansa Clip Jam, with essentially equivalent functionality and the addition of a Bluetooth transmitter (which I do not use). I prefer the positive action of the Klantop buttons over the Sansa buttons, and I have not had any problems with false button pushes skipping to the next podcast, etc., which were commonplace on the Sansa Clip Jam.To transfer files, I just copy MP3 files from my PC to the top-level directory of the Klangtop. Since the MP3 files contain Artist, Album, and Genre information, the Klantop automatically organizes the files into these categories without my needing to create directories on the Klangtop - it couldn't be easier. There are a few quirks with the user interface, particularly in exiting modes and returning to the next higher level of the menu. Two examples: 1) to exit volume control setting, press the center key and 2) to exit from displaying the currently playing selection, press and hold the down button (the return button). It doesn't take long to learn and memorize idiosyncrasies like this, and I would describe this device as easy to use once you get through the learning curve.Overall, I would recommend the Klangtop Digital Clip Music player as a good replacement for the Sansa Clip Jam.

Tried 3 other brands this is the only one that lasted 2 days- LOL
This is my 4th bluetooth player in the last week. I wanted something similar to an old Ipod shuffle but with bluetooth to help restart a workout program. This is about 2" long x 1" x 1/2" thick with a big clip, it has bluetooth, and on/off switch 3.5mm headphone outlet mini-sd card slot and mini usb charge/transfer but you have to use their mini usb you can't use a regular mini usb cable for some reason but the others I bought were the same. This is important: if you experience the player skipping songs after 15" that's a preference, you have in the player setting viewplaying selected and you need play all or other to listen correctly. I spent a long time with this, and the seller answered me with this advice! This klangtop is the best so far, others including victure 8gbAGPTEK R1S, and deefec 16GB Bluetooth MP3 (chenfeng). Each has its positive and negatives, but in my case the Victure felt cheap, then it locked up and crashed. The Agp wouldn't connect to my bluetooth headphones, the Chenfeng x50 also crashed a lot esp. if I had an ext. sd card installed. The victure had the best bluetooth distance, but the crashes killed it-plus only their usb would allow songs to be transferred to it, the chenfeng the seller was the best, and it had the best screen, and sent firmware but it was a windows only and I did tell him I had osx. The AGP but was the largest meaning longest. This klangtop works but is also "buggy", it takes a while to get used to the menu and connect to BT, it will reconnect if it loses connection, the menu is not intuitive at all, still (after two days) difficult to figure out how to change from internal to external storage and plays songs, but it does have an equalizer not the best and not intuitive, it can delete songs on its own but "I can't get back to that window at the moment", when you're in bluetooth, you cannot access other functions unless you exit bluetooth which is a hassle, but the others also do this.BTW it does have a semi rough (suede) like finish so it's nice in your hands, it has a clear on off button and so far it seems to last about 4 hours or so on bluetooth but I have not yet emptied the battery and did a full overnight charge. Screen sucks a bit if you're older it's not high quality at all, and if you are on a book like others say you cannot restart where you were, it goes to the beginning, you'd need a free app like audacity to edit your books into 15 min chunks, I haven't tried lists from itunes but I think I saw them however if the list name is long like tony robbins' then you can read it all the way. "It does scroll the title left to right...It's definitely 4 stars meaning at least it works, and seems reliable but not apple easy. it uses usb mini to charge.... The others will probably work too but this was the best for me...The screen is not HD quality it's readable if you have 20/20 or with magnification if you're like me, that's the biggest issue I have....4 stars

Perfection
*** Update 3/4/19 *** Bluetooth was having issues so I contacted the seller, Kingtop. I had a very pleasant and helpful exchange troubleshooting my issue over email. In the end they offered a free replacement to resolve my issue, which arrived yesterday. Still very happy with my purchase. 5+ stars!Original Review - August 2018Typically I wait a few weeks to review products but after 48 hours of use I'm confident in saying this thing is simply a perfect no nonsense music player. It has a dedicated, firm on/off button. I no longer accidentally activate the power and run down the battery. It's small and lightweight, perfect for the gym. It plays FLAC format, so no need to convert my collection to MP3 and has an expandable memory slot on top of it's internal 8GB storage. The display is minimal. I don't need to see album covers, just play the music. The sound is great. Moving music is s simple as copying file from one folder to another and fast. No ridiculous iTunes needed. Sweat proof and a great price. The menus are straight forward and easy to use. Just the right balance of features without making things too complex. I love this thing!
