This year I wanted to try and improve our lawn so I bought a couple of bags of this seed.After cutting and raking the lawn I used this to overseed.It's hard to say how much has actually germinated but I would guess about 50%. It took about 2 weeks to start growing. The seed that has grown looks nice and healthy, hopefully over the summer it will thicken up.The major downside is that since I put it down birds haven't stopped eating it. So I lost a lot of seed to that.You get a good amount of seed for the money so even with the bird seed tax it still works out pretty good value.

I would give this product zero stars if I could. I purchased 5Kg of seeds to over seed a small area of lawn which had been scarified and top-soiled. I read the good reviews in the hope that I'd get a decent sprouting of grass from the seeds.Complete waste of time and money. I put down three times as much seed as required but not one seed has germinated. I've basically paid £35 for a bag of husks.The weather has been perfect, sunshine and rain, but still nothing. The seeds have been down for 3 weeks and I think I can safely give up on them and put it down to experience. I should have gone to my local garden centre and just bought something off the shelf.

Seeds spread mixed in compost and watering daily but no signs of growth yet Ayer 8 days 🤞🤞hoping to see something soon

Very impressed with this seed. Filled in a hole that the dogs had dug with top soil. Covered in seed, watered, covered with top soil (only last Sunday) had rain and sun all week so didn’t water and these are the results in ONE WEEK!! I didn’t cover the whole patch with top soil and you can see it has grown much better with the area that did have a soil topper. impressive

Our garden has always had issues with the grass, the spoil is quite clay like.Tried this first on a corner that the grass had died and and great result.Used it on another large area and more great results. About 3/4 of the seeds have grown.Lovely and green, very thick
