Fast Forward (1985)

Fast Forward review - I used to watch this a lot when I was a kid and loved it. And now that I rewatched it, I probably shouldn't have been watching it as a kid due to its content. Lol. But I loved it because of the dancing. I used to dream about doing what they did - dance, move out, get their own apartment, revamping their apartment, and dancing some more. I thought that was an awesome thing to do. Anyways, fast forward to now (no pun intended), I didn't think this movie was as exciting as I thought it was when I was a kid. But I still like it a lot, especially the dancing. 5 stars for me. The movie on Amazon is old-ish and it isn't remastered, so expect it to be shown in its original film form. I'm just really glad I found this on Amazon again, especially since I forgot the name of it (I was a kid and don't remember these things) and couldn't find it anywhere else.

Didn't dislike anything I saw this movie years ago and I liked it then and still like it now. I am just glad I have it for my own private collection

This is certainly a "sleeper" hit! I have seen this movie well over 200 times and I've stopped counting. It's become a cult classic to me since I was only 13 when it came out! I can recite the lines, know the choreography and can sing along with the cheesy and catchy songs. It's great fun watching these kids, who were dorky Sandusky, Ohio teenagers who make a pack to make it big in New York (the old adage)! They're basically comeback kids who get humbled from the local street dancers on what "real" street cred dancing is all about and of course there's the "Showdown" that takes place to prove who's the best. I would recommend it to any lovers of dance and definitely those who loved "Fame"!

I remembered this movie when i was a kid. It was so fun to watch. I forgot all about it until i seen the man who looks like Christoff St. John. Nice dances, songs, not too much dirty language, entertaining for an 80's movie.

I know it's an import and I know our European DVD players don't tend to play these DVD's, but I have bought several others and all were able to play on my pc with VLC media player. Unfortunately this one doesnt... Contacted the seller about this and he replied quickly, but was unable to give a solution. Did offer me to send it back for a refund, but I refuse to give up trying to play it. In case anyone else has some tips, please let me know :)

Leider ist die DVD nur in englischer Sprache, man kann nicht auf Deutsch umstellen.Stand so nicht in der Artikelbeschreibung, daher nur 3 Sterne.Sonst läuft die DVD problemlos :-)

Hab die CD gekauft. Leider funktioniert diese CD nicht, so kann ich mir den Film nicht anschauen. War echt total enttäuscht.
