Great book report this to go with a microbit my son uses the same thing at school

Bought this for my son and he loves it. Using a micro bit at school he wanted to do more so we bought one for home and he's been hard at work codes lots of different things ever since.Book is good for beginners and is well laid out.

Challenging children’s education

Bought for simple projects for a small group at a club to work through independently and it worked really well. I was impressed with the clear instructions and the way that the later projects worked together. Just what I needed and so successful that my club will run again in the next school year for a new group.

This book has some great ideas and we brought it for our son. He doesn't have all of the equipment yet but when his birthday comes around I'm sure he will have a lot of fun with this coding.

Having bought a BBc micro-bit for my 12 year old then bought a book to get him working methodically to understand capability of the tech. book is very clear and takes things step-by-step, but for a child with prior experience in scratch / block coding then a bit too simple. We quickly skipped to the exercises in the kitronik inventors kit which uses a breadboard and edge connector and separate components to get to right level of challenge

Nicely laid out. Clear instructions, easy to follow. Fun projects to make for the Microbit with lots of opportunities to extend.
