Surprised Me How Good These Are
Okay, I’ve been on a quest to keep my dusty house clean. I’ve now bought 7!!!!!! different resusable dusting products, and this is one of my favorites. I waited to buy it last thinking I’d like others better, but this is *amazing* for certain tasks. The wild thing is that I can find use for every single different product I bought, though this one and the Oxo Fragile Duster are the most useful to me.This sponge replaces a Magic Eraser for everything except the hardest stuck on stuff you have to scrub. But, it also doesn’t take off paint like Magic Eraser, so I also felt safe using it on my wood floor to wipe up a spill while I was doing the baseboards. And it’s SO MUCH sturdier. The attached pictures are after using it all over the house on baseboards and cleaning both air intake covers, one of which I’d apparently forgotten about because it was caked with dust.It usually takes me about 2-3 Magic Erasers for each cover, they rip to shreds getting the dust where it’s stuck in the grates. But, you can see from the pictures that this sponge only has a little visible use. For the thickest dust, it did kind of clump up & fall to the ground more than stick to the sponge, but it was less mess than with the Magic Erasers, and I found that light dust sticks to it fine. It took no time at all to sweep up, in fact the overall task was much quicker.I actually have never found a sponge that I’d say I liked. I have a particular dislike for sponges, in fact, because they get so smelly. But I’ve now used the sponge many times since I took those pictures almost a month ago.Magic Eraser also have a very unpleasant feeling to me in my hand, as the sponges disintegrate while you use them. These duster sponges don’t do that, at all. They feel pleasant and squishy in your hand. So pleasant, in fact, my chore-averse 8 yo begged me to give him chores with it the first few days I had it! That’s unheard of! He’s still happy to clean something w/it if I ask, which is something I never expected. They do harden after use, but I’ve softened it up again and again. It doesn’t smell badly, either, like most sponges. I’ve easily gotten more than my money’s worth for this package, getting as much use out of a single sponge as I did for multiple packages of Magic Eraser. Far more economical and I like it far better. Buy this! It’s going to be a staple product for me.

good duster
I recently discovered the Damp Dusting Sponge, and I can confidently say it has revolutionized my cleaning routine. As someone who hates dust, this little wonder has become an indispensable part of my cleaning arsenal.the quality of these sponges is good. They are durable, and I've been using the same one for weeks without any signs of wear and tear. Unlike traditional dusters that tend to push dust around, these sponges trap dust and debris effectively, leaving surfaces genuinely clean. One of the aspects I appreciate most is their versatility. Whether it's dusting shelves, wiping down baseboards, or cleaning ceiling fan blades, these sponges handle it all effortlessly. They even work wonders on blinds, which used to be a real headache for me to clean. The magic happens when you dampen the sponge slightly. It clings to dust like a magnet, eliminating the need for expensive and wasteful disposable dusting cloths. I also love the fact that they are reusable and easy to clean. A quick rinse and they're ready for the next cleaning session.Another major plus is their design. The sponges fit comfortably in my hand and are easy to maneuver, making the whole cleaning process less tiring. It's the small design details that truly set these sponges apart. In summary, I cannot recommend the Damp Dusting Sponge enough. It's affordable, eco-friendly, and incredibly effective at its job. Cleaning has become less tiresome. do yourself a favor and give these sponges a try.

Fun to Use, Works Pretty Good
Typically I always did my dusting using the 'Lysol wipes' -type of products (usually the generic ones). Then I saw these little dusting sponge thingies and they seemed like a neat idea! I liked that they could help me to cut down on some of the expense of the single-use wipes and also generate a bit less waste. They came nicely sealed in individual baggies and were damp enough to use right away. I first tried them out and thought, "wow - these are actually even kind of fun to use!" (Perhaps I might even get my 49 year old child-- ahem.. I mean, husband! -- onboard to get involved and help with some of the dusting?! lol... A girl can always dream.)But anyways... after using for a while, I feel that they do indeed do a pretty good job of picking up dust. You can choose how wet or dry to make them - if needed, they could probably also double duty for some light 'sponge-type-cleaning' such as wiping a spill, etc. I love that it comes with 4 sponges so you can keep going until all 4 are dirty. Once the sponges are sufficiently dusty however I've found that they *can* re-deposit some dust back onto your surfaces though so they need to be rinsed off regularly as they're used.Although they seem somewhat sturdy, I do try to be gentle with rinsing them and wringing them out, as I've noticed sometimes when I've squeezed hard to get the water out, I am putting little folds/wrinkles in them. I would also caution not to use them on any type of rough surfaces, as that would be likely to create tears. Another thing I also noticed was, when compared with a new sponge fresh out of the package, the ones I've used seem to have shrunk a bit and lost a little of their color vibrancy (see photo). Not a huge deal, but I hope they do not continue to shrink over time. Now I will say, that while these sponges do well at removing dust from flat/open surfaces and spots that don't have tight spaces or corners - because of their thick design, they aren't really the best for going into tight spots or right up against the inside of a 90 degree angle, for instance. I still have to remember to go back afterwards with a disinfecting wipe (or something that can get into a narrow spot) and get those little places.Once you're done using them, you might want to store them in a ziploc baggie or another type of sealed container so they stay ready to use for next time (I put mine in a 2 quart plastic canister). If not, they will quickly get dried out, get stuck together, and become hard as rocks. Not to worry though if this happens - you can easily bring them 'back to life' again by soaking them in a dish of water for a few minutes and, if needed, squeezing them to get the moisture back into the center of the sponge.
