Fearing an immediate fall and and break during Christmas, I order two different covers for my sons switch, both were cheap and flimsy and unlikely to offer much protection, thus I find this one, which I must say stabilises the controls making it feel more robust. It fits in the port nicely, seems well built for now.

Brilliant case, docks easily with the case on. feels nice in the hand when playing for long periods of time. Only downside is that the game holder sticks out beyong the back of the dock so if you have a snug dust cover then it won't fit..I was lucky mine is big enough to accomadate it no problem :)

Most importantly, it fits nicely in the dock, just remember to open the game holder. The first time I tried it, it worked but the second time it didn't and I was furious... until I realized the game holder wasn't open. Duh. An important feature for me is that the kickstand be able to open and it does. All the cutouts line up. The joycons slip out without hassle (a little tight now but may loosen up). The headphone jack works too. The game holder is a nice feature but I won't use it. It may be important to you, and it looks like the games snap in and the case has a latch to prevent them from falling out. (But who knows what will happen when the door is open to put it in the dock.) Next topic: Protection. I bought this with the intention of protection from falls because I'm prone to dropping things. Obviously, I wasn't about to test how it would withstand a fall! I tried to show the case keeping the screen off the surface which should prevent the screen from getting scratched. My fear is the screen would pop out if the joycons are not attached as the material does not extend far enough onto the screen surface. EDIT: The screen does NOT stay in the case when the joycons are removed!! In all honesty, I didn't want to buy this because of the game case, but I am pleasantly surprised that it may actually be a keeper provided the screen protection doesn’t split within the first few months of use. I docked two stars because of the screen popping out issue, otherwise a decent product. UNPAID REVIEW: Completely my personal thoughts. I was not compensated in any way for this review.

Purchased for the OLED switch and I wanted something that would stop the joy cons moving too much. This case does the trick as it wraps around the joycons making the whole unit more solid. Good storage on the back for a few games and great drop protection.

Broke after just one month of use I bought this Nintendo Switch case about a month ago, and unfortunately it’s already broken. The plastic frame around the grip area has cracked and started to separate, which makes the case feel loose and insecure when holding the console. I’ve always handled my Switch carefully, so this seems to be a durability issue rather than accidental damage. When it was new, the case looked great — it felt sturdy, fit well, and the design was nice. But the material clearly isn’t built to last. For a product that’s supposed to protect your console, it shouldn’t fall apart this quickly. Really disappointed with the quality. I can’t recommend this case unless the manufacturer improves the materials.

My partner bought this case for her Switch and I was so impressed about how much more comfortable it was than the case I already had that I bought one too. It fits perfectly in the hands, is comfortable after hours of use, and the cartridge holder is very convenient. Fits into the dock perfectly.

Every Nintendo gamer should have this holder. It is a must! I saw it for the first time travelling from Philipeen airport to Japan and immediatly ordered it! Very happy I did!

Ich war auf der Suche auf eine Hülle die sowohl gut in der Hand liegt als auch die Funktionalität der Konsole nicht einschränkt und wurde hier fündig. Die Hülle ist sehr hochwertig und stabil schützt die Konsole ausreichend gegen Stürze und liegt unfassbar gut in der Hand. Auch die kleine Klappe auf der Rückseite für Spiele ist sehr gut gemacht. Es gibt fast keine negativen Punkte. Das einzige ist das durch die Möglichkeit die Joycons rauszunehmen der Schutz etwas oben nachlässt was für mich aber kein Problem ist. Wer also eine Hülle mit wenig Einschränkungen, guter Handhabung und sogar noch Platz für ein paar Spiele sucht ist hier genau richtig.

It’s a wonderful cover. Especially that I don’t have to take it off to dock the switch. Even the botten bracket is very small near the usb-c port but it is made from a different material than the rest of the cover which makes is a bit sturdier. So it won’t break, (my former cover from spigen did broke at this point because it was made from hard material) but the quality is better than some expensive brands. Also the handles for my big hands are really great. And the power annd volume buttons react great in it. Although it also has one little flaw in my opinion, that’s is to get the games out of the holder you need some help from a pen or a spoon or something. There is just not enough room to get your bare finger in to pull it out. But overall it gets a well deserved 4 out of 5. Great build

Convenient, but the plastic on the bottom is too flimsy, and, although it is more comfortable than the original switch, it could have a longer extension on the side. Also, it is too expensive for what you are getting
