Otterbox cases are typically more expensive but given how well they work and the cost of a phone perhaps they're worth it.My new S23 needed a case and I bought Otterbox again. I've used other cases and they were all okay for some level of protection but Otterbox always seems to be heavier and stronger. The one for the S23 is no different.It's a three piece case but when it's assembled it looks like a single piece. It's "grippy" so it's easy to hold but it won't slide out of a pocket as easily as some. It also won't slide off of things or out of your hand as easily as some.The button covers work easily and wireless charging is no problem. It has a flip open cover for the charging port. The area around the camera lenses appears adequately protective and is stylishly shaped in my opinion. The "Lichen The Trek" green is olive drab to me and the trim color of the inner case is a lighter gray/green. It all looks fine with the small amount of green color showing on the Samsung case.The case has some cushion zones so it adds to the size of the phone a little. It may actually work with a 10' drop but I think I'll forgo that test for now.Some reviewers complained about assembling the case. I don't know why. There are no instructions with the case but peel the outer cover off, separate the two inner halves, snap those two halves around your phone and put the outer cover back on your new phone case.I expect this case will easily last as long as the phone.......

Nice and durable case.

Purchased this hardy case for my husband! It is very sturdy and well made. He has had it for a while now and it provides excellent protection. The raised lip around the screen and the camera do an excellent job keeping it safe on falls.

Otter box products are durable and look good.

Always a fan of the Otterbox cases, and this one did not disappoint. Quite easy to put on, very durable and protective. They usually outlast the phone!

For the price it's about average. You get what u pay for. It's been 1yr and it's still in good shape. It has a tacky texture that is just the right amount of tack if that makes sense. It won't stick to the sides of your pocket while sliding it in with the right amount to feel confident with it in hand.Also, the back is not sturdy enough to stay true so it "puffs up" separating itself from the phone. Hopefully this helps. If you can make sense of it.

I went through 3 otterboxes on 2 different phones, even cracked a military grade case but the defender held up to momhood of toddlers, teens and forgetting I set the phone down in the fridge. Spilled drinks, didnt faze it. Color was as pictured. Easy to install, not slippery , perfect for the feral adult and family (Functional for Mom, Dad, teens and toddlers with grabby hands. Easy to wipe down)
