Lights seem to work good. They are bright and clear. Went to install the new outer rubbers and they are smaller than wat I have and I have to use my old ones.

Awesome, buying more of them
These are 2.5" lights for mounting in 3" holes. I am glad I read other reviews stating these were difficult to install because that helped me formulate a better plan and install went great. They look great, come ready with the plugin on the light for existing two prong plugs and includes another male prong and wire lead in case you need. The light's connection already came with dielectric grease on the connection... nice.To install:1. used a grinder and made a slight bevel (The steel is thick on this older CM work bed).2. Cut 8 slits in the inner ring (not the rim facing outward). This allows you to get a smaller section in and hold while you work on the next and the slits have no effect on holding power after installed.3. Plug the light in (yep... almost forgot when I got too focused on the install)4. Work the rim with an allen wrench or a smooth tool and a wide blade screwdriver....just a combo to not puncture or tear the material but will still have to push with some force here and there. The pictures are from the first time trying this way.... the second light installed within 2-3 minutes after creating the bevel. Was easy enough install and the product looks and feels quality enough that I am getting ready to order more.Update 8/5/2021, 2.5 yrs laters and all of these lights still work and remain as bright as day 1.

sub par materials
On my cargo van I have side markers that have lasted 17 plus years, and just now showing deterioration of the rubber, and that's through harsh winters in Alaska. These were the U.S. Truck Lite brand. I tried ordering four different sets off of Amazon to find something comparable, but in just about every case the rubber is more of a plastic. In one case the case (plastic lens) came apart installing them, despite a waterproof rating. And something you can't really see on the surface is the solder joints, which can be quite weak. I ended up going back to my local trailer supply company and buying the Truck Lite brand. I figure I got 17 years out of the incandescent bulbs, so can't beat that. Overall quality was much better. They now have LED, if you want to spend the extra $$.I guess if you can find some of these that actually fit, great, but overall quality is just not there in my opinion. Again the rubber is more of a plastic, and I really questioned the solder joints and plastic used for the housing/lens case. You're buying LEDs to outlast incandescent, but the rest of the materials and solder joints are not up to the task. The item is only as strong as its weakest link IOW.

Good quality
The fit was right for a 2.5" marker with a 2.75" grommet.I found the rubber grommet to be extremely hard though and could not get it to sit nicely into the hole. I ended up reusing the original seal and popping the light assembly into that instead.Pros: very bright.
