Is this ok as first straw cup for baby to learn how to drink?

Yes. Mine began using a straw cup at 6 months and this worked perfectly, especially since it has a soft straw. Unfortunately, if you let them use it whilst they’re eating, it all gets clogged up with food and some parts are impossible to clean. Such a shame - it’s be a lovely product otherwise. I ended up discarding them quickly in exchange for the Tommee Tippee versions.

Hi. Does this bottle leak when say put in the bag?

No it doesn't, but just be careful opening the top (sliding panda section up) as pressure tends to build up and you can get a fountain. That's the only complaint, it's a great cup and no leaks and been using for 18 months+
