TVDC SMOK Rigel Mod 230W Box Mod Powered by Dual 18650 Battery, 2ml Cartridge No Nicotine (Black)

Now had for a couple of months. Great little MoD. No problems so far.

It heats the oil that’s about it. The battery percentage is the number only, which is soo tiny you can’t actually see it. No editing functions except wattage. Honestly this is the most basic mod I have ever had, and for the price point I feel completely ripped off

brought this product, was very happy. then one day it stopped working. "battery low" it kept saying and turning off for a day untill it just stopped turning on. my last mod worked for 6 years so this is a very bad disappointment will be buying something else now. very upset.

There are multiple reasons I love this unit.1) It's comfortable to hold. The roundish front and flat back make it easy to handle (unlike the bulkier mods you can get).2) Light weight, yet doesn't feel "cheap".3) Functions and extras:-- Change the colour of the LCD screens-- Lock wattage / temperature - probably an important one for those who handle alot.4) Easy access to batteries, lasts a long time on a single charge (with 18650's)5) Nice texture, enhancing the feel of the mod.This unit replaced my broken heavy duty mod and ar first I was skeptical, being the great it was. But, I have no complaints. It really is outstanding value (and was the cheapest I could find on a budget and exceeded my needs).Very happy. Thanks Seller.

Price of this mod is good and when I got it, it worked without any problems. At one point it did have a wobble where it wouldn’t work, some error message came out (can’t remember what it was) but after removing batteries for a minute or so and trying it again, it worked.Then maybe a month or so later it kept popping up with the message “battery low” and turning off automatically even when using freshly charged batteries and would do this every single time so I stopped using it. Left it for quite a few months and then tried to use it but it didn’t work.Short story, inside there’s a black wire which had come off from the solder joint.I think two causes for this, one the wire is so thin it is easy for it to come off the joint and two also I’ve dropped it a few times which I think had caused it to break off.To fix it, you have to remove the 4 screws behind the battery cover and then peel off the carbon stickers and remove the 4 hidden screws. After this you’ll be able to take off the plastic battery holder section (held in by plastics tabs), remove it slowly because it is meant to have the black thin cable soldered to the bottom battery contacts (mine was broken). Once removed, solder the black cable back on and that should fix it (it did for me).I would probably buy this mod again since its priced well and I could fix it if it had the same issue again.For reasons above I’ve rated it 3 star, 3.5 would be the exact I’d give.

Typical Smok mod in the sense of ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I already own a Smok G-Priv 4 and always go for the red&black colour scheme and the Rigel is no exception purchased to be used where I'd hate to risk damaging the (very) expensive g-priv4 , it's comfortable to hold, powerful if needed and easy on the batteries. It's easy to set up and use and cost effective enough to be highly recommended for (in my case) the work related days where an odd knock doesn't mean a broken touch screen!

There's nothing essentially wrong with this mod. You can adjust the power, but there's no fancy temperature control or anything like that. The screen has various colours that all look good. It's been incredibly reliable for me the first couple weeks, no issues. Delivered nice, even power. Fire button can be locked separate to power buttons which is very useful.The only problem for me is the very small battery level indicator which shows a percentage for each cell. I can't read it without my glasses! Not ideal when it's important to know if your battery is running out. You can charge the unit by USB c tho so it's not the end of the world.Would give 5 stars if the battery level was more legible.

Nice size and feel in your hand not as heavy as my other smok mods which I like
