After looking at some eye-wateringly expensive custom dog boxes for our XL-breed puppy, we decided to give this a go. She’d outgrown 2 airline-style crates by 6months and was not going to be comfortable crammed into the Ferplast Atlas 40 on a long road trip. It has proven to be a great choice for us.Pros: the frame is sturdy and coated metal, not plastic. It’s also easy to assemble and lightweight, so very handy to move into and out of our car boot when I need the space for groceries. Or when staying away, we’ve brought it into the hotel room or holiday cottage as her crate. She’s comfortable enough to snore away for hours in it, and it has not warped or bent. The handles are useful, because though it’s lightweight, at this size it’s awkward, especially carrying it through doors. I was worried about the mesh as our dog has long, very strong claws (see photo) and can really scratch at the front of a crate in excitement when she’s about to be let out. But so far, it’s held up extremely well!! That’s after 2 roadtrips and near daily use. She’s now 7 months, 25+Kg , quite long for a mastiff, and still growing. Lots of space for her, this should see her into adult size.Cons: none really, although be aware that if you have a hatchback shaped car, this may be too tall to fit. For reference, it fits in my BMW iX3 with plenty of room on top and enough on the sides for a narrow bag or 2. But it will not fit in my husband’s BMW 3 series GT.Cushion: we found the 3peaks Medium size cushion (bought elsewhere) is the perfect fit for for this XL crate. (See photo). Definitely the M, the L was too large. Hope this helps.

Good size crate, lightweight but sturdy. Easy to put together. Reasonable price.

Very happy with this, it fits into the car easily folds away and our Beagle loves it.

This is a very good quality item but is not very easy to assemble. The poles require a considerable amount of pushing and pulling to assemble/put the thing together. This needs a good bit of strength.I'm a retired chap and still have a reasonable amount of strength and, boy, I needed it. It might have been easier with two people but my wife and I don't do joint assembly very well. If, like my late dad, you had arthritic hands/fingers then it would almost certainly be too much for you to manage alone.This is the biggest one that I could find and I thought it would be the only size large enough for our Bagle hound (beagle-basset cross which, at just over 20kg, is more like a giant old fashioned English beagle). Sure enough, it's just right for him, with plenty spare height and plenty room for him to turn. I don't, however, think that it would be very roomy for a labrador or something similar in size.At this price I also feel that it should have come with its own bottom-end soft bed included, as do several cheaper ones. Luckily our dog's existing bed fits in perfectly.

Well designed, easy to assemble travel crate for a big dog. Side and front access, zippers clip together to stop them opening by accident. I really like the easy assembly and the way it folds down flat with a carry handle. Looks well made too.

Bought this after a friend recommended it, for our Labrador pup. Light, fits in car boot, very easy to set up. She has been happy to get in and sleep in it.Quality product

I have a 4.5 month old puppy, small dog, and this is her day crate. It was easy to set up and is placed in our dining room, where she naps during the day. She has taken to it well, it has a nice soft mattress and gives her plenty of space to sleep and play (including a water bowl). I got the largest size even though she is small, as didn't want to confine her in a tiny crate. It has also helped with house training.

I wasn’t sure my cocker spaniel would like his new crate but I was so wrong! He loves it. Even though it’s light it’s also sturdy and easy to lift. I’m so pleased we decided to buy this and so is Gunner.😀

This kennel is great!! I love how it folds down and it's very easy to set up! It's very light to carry too. I drive a 2019 Ford Edge and it fits nicely in the very back of my car. I can even put this in the very back and my other two dogs. I am using this for a 10 month old, 30# foster pit puppy and she's got a lot of extra room. My small husky mix (35#) fits well and my 60# dutch shepherd would be fine laying in it also. I love that it opens on the top and the side. Seems durable and it's exactly what I was hoping for.

Die Hundebox habe ich eine Stunde lang rumstehen lassen, damit der kleine Racker sie beschnuppern und sich damit anfreunden kann.Nachdem ich seine Matratze hineingelegt habe (75cm x 50cm), ging er sofort hinein und hat die Box seitdem als sein Zuhause akzeptiert. So schnell und unkompliziert habe ich das gar nicht erwartet.Die Box ist super stabil. Ich habe mir einige angesehen, aber diese ist wirklich die beste.Kein Vergleich mit wackeligen Lösungen einiger (Marken-) Hersteller.Zwei Tragegriffe zum bequemen und nicht wackeligen herumheben.Öffenbar ist die Box vorne und an einer Seite. Das Netz wird hochgerollt und ist sofort mit dem Klettband in Position, eine einfache Lösung ohne viel Rumgefummel.An der Box-Oberseite kann man das Netz ebenfalls öffnen, zum Streicheln während der Fahrt ganz praktisch.Es wird zwar keine Matratze mitgeliefert und es ist keine Tragetasche dabei, das führt aber nicht zu Punkteabzug. Oft sind die mitgelieferten Matratzen viel zu dünn und unbequem.Somit die beste Hundebox für den kleinen Racker, der gibt sie nicht mehr her.

Aufgebaut und den Hund nicht mehr rausbekommen :-) gute Größe und auf Grund des Möglichkeit 3 Seiten zu öffnen ist die Box auch flexibel einsetzbar und der Hund fühlt sich durch die "gelochten" Wände auch nicht eingesperrt. Tolle Verarbeitung!
