4K HD Autofocus Webcam with Microphone, Adjustable Light and Privacy Cover, Plug and Play USB for Laptop/Desktop Video Calling

what i like is that the camera is free standing and comes with a tripod. we have a very large monitor and it is annoying to have to look up to use attached cameras. you and place it on a book, or i have used two sided tape to attach to screen. the quality is excellent. my wife likes the ability to use the small shutter to close off the picture to prevent hacking. The ring light works, as we keep the room lights low and the included light is great to have as part of the device. It is a fair value for the device and works as advertised.

It works. Image drags a little even on usb C connectIon. Didn’t expect that. But I am retired so I don’t need a great refresh rate for using teams anymore, good buy for the money, auto-focus works. I tried it on OBS recording software and it works well for making training videos with Picture in Picture. For the money I would recommend it as long as you have a USB C CONNECTION available on your computer. Image quality mediocre due to light flares/hotspots.

This is no were close to being 4K or HD this is the worst camera ive ever bought. It's only good quality if you get very close to it. The auto focus is decent I will say that, but the quality is absolutely horrible. It makes the image so bright and in low light it is absolutely horrible and pixelated. DO NOT BUY THIS!

I actually bought one first and loved the quality that I just purchased a second one. I have older laptops and their cameras are not that good. Also, sometimes is hard to position a laptop built in camera. This camera works great! It has a strong clamp, can be positioned where you want it, it has a pretty good lighting and it's really good quality. If it.works great with an older laptop, I'm sure it would work even better with an updated system. I definitely recommend it!

For the price it worked. The light went out fast on it, and now only flashes annoyingly. The video is good, though I mess with setting to turn off low light compensation as it's extremely slow and makes the recording frames drop hard. The autofocus is too sensitive. It has no software, I use OBS to change these settings. It seems to have good exposure, and this was tested in both low light and high light settings. It has a good range to aim left or right, up or down, used for streaming on lots of different sizes of monitor and no matter how small or big I could aim it where it needed to go.

Webcam comes with tripod or built-in clip to attach to the lid of your laptop. Built-in light has adjustable dimming. There is no adjustable zoom feature, you must manually place the camera to your desired distance. Picture quality is good. You don't have to use the built-in microphone. However, the sound quality was muffled according to folks listening. Easy fix was to disable the microphone and use the default microphone on the laptop. Overall, decent webcam for the price.

Long story short, it's not 4K. I tried not only all the built-in utilities, but also OBS Studio and some other software, and nothing got the actual 4K resolution, so it's fraudulent in that respect. However, it's probably better than most of these cameras. The main reason I'm posting is because I wanted to share with people that there is a default setting that has to do with light balance mode, that if you can get in and find and disable that setting, and you have to use a special third-party, there's an open-source tool, you can find it on GitHub, or if you can use OBS Studio, and you have to do this every time your computer reboots, but if you can just disable that setting, it will transform your webcam, it will be actually usable in a smooth picture, but if you just have the default, you go and buy this and plug it in and try to use it, it's going to be a miserable experience. It was like stop-motion, like a claymation animation, like one frame per second with tracers. It was absolutely unusable. I only hung on and fought with it and researched for a full day because I had already tried three other webcams, and they all were even worse than this one, and I figured I was fighting, I thought maybe it was my computer or something else, no, it was not, and after a whole lot of research, you know, into the directshow api from Microsoft and USB device settings, and really digging in and figuring it all out, I found out it was that setting, and if that setting is turned off, the webcam becomes usable, and it's smooth and nice. It was weird seeing people post reviews of this specific cam, and for example some lady's video here on Amazon, if you watch closely, she's running her video in fast forward, so when you look at the screen and you're seeing it kind of smooth, that's not in real time! She's actually run her review in a faster speed, and it tricked me. I thought, oh, wow, that looks really smooth, why isn't mine like hers, and then I saw that it was sped up. I'm like, oh, man, she was dishonest, and you know, when you dig around, I actually did find some other reviews online where they had actually had it honest, and it really was smooth, but they had found that setting, and then of course there are other ones that are choppy, but anyway, I just wanted to share that about the setting. It's some light balance mode. Have to disable that to make this usable.
